I think going forward we start seeing more and more specific commitments taking place. Those that fill an exact role like the long snapper this year. This is one huge luxury of recruiting at such a high level for a half decade. We will continue to see the same each year relative to the most important and needed positions...you can't take a year off when your recruiting such elite prospects. Many will be 3 year players and the coaching staff plans for this. It makes it that much more important to have those needs met with each and every class. This won't change.
What I see changing is exactly what were seeing more this year than previous. Specialist, role commitments. Many options for limited space. More visits from top level recruits (even those who really have no real desire to play at Alabama will visit because of who we have become nationally). Not only as Champions, but as that one offer/visit everyone covets. If to only see how they do it at Title Town. This causes us fans, the ones who live on every word from every recruit a little more uncertainty because we won't know which ones of these are just visiting because its Alabama. We will only see it as here's another elite prospect were after and another top one fans want. In the end, I see it remaining as it has been....classes full of elite prospects, with some very key specific roles mixed in and classes that will rank regardless of the site Top 5 going forward.
WOW - Can we really ask for anything more? If you say yes, give yourself one of these....
