Can the top 2 be any more even?

  • LSU v. Bama is a tie at the end of regulation. They both beat Arky by the same margin of victory, 24 points. Both teams are led by superb defenses. LSU has very good special teams and an adequate offense. Alabama has a good offense and adequate special teams. In the spirit of fairness they should play a best of three series to determine the nat'l champion, right?

  • And I think the poll votes will recognize that we're probably the only team that can stay with LSU (and LSU is the only team that can stay with us). I'm not too worried about OSU jumping us if they beat OU.

  • As even a match as I've ever seen . You have LSU/Bama > everybody else and there's no denying it if you know anything about football . As long as we take care of business tomorrow it's the two best teams for it all and nobody else is even close .

I hope you are right. Just worries me that this anti-rematch sentiment has a week to build up and watch Ok State possibly beat Oklahoma while Bama is at home not playing. We all know it's crazy, but humans are involved. Ok State has the computers in their back pocket, all they need is human voters now.

We are the only team that can realistically beat them and vice versa without a total meltdown . The only time I remember it being this obvious was Nebraska/Oklahoma 1971 . If it's anything else it's a travesty and modern voters don't know chit .
