BOL isn't "trying" to scoop anything. They've had deep inside info into this situation for at least 3-4 months but held it because what they knew isn't really the kind of thing we want our writers reporting. If they're "trying" to do anything, its to give us the information we want in a professional and respectful manner. That's what they've done here.

Ok, so what did they tell us? "Carter not likely to return".....people have been speculating this for a year or so. I understand they have a source close to the program that made an assumption based on past behavior by Carter. But it is still specuation. That is all I am really saying, not trying to be difficult and I do believe that he probably isn't going to play but.............I have seen stranger things happen.
Also, if the information they are holding leads them to believe he will not play this year...why is he listed on the roster and Bowman and Ronald are not? (actually it is Rolltide.com roster not BOL that is linked by Travis below)

My goodness people.... Just trying to converse on the board is all......I never said I was upset and I wouldn't be pissed if they "spilled the bean", I am very satisfied with the receivers we have with or without DC. Roll Tide.

Carter has had EVERY opportunity to NOT be suspended. Bottom line is you do what you are asked to do and you stay out of trouble. Follow the rules even when the staff and other players try to help you out and you will be fine. He,up to this point,just refuses to do so. Saying it and doing it are 2 different things.
