Celebrity at the Bama - USC Basketball Game ?

At the game today I noticed a very athletic looking gentleman wearing
sun glasses ( inside Coleman ) .. He was a USC guy and sat just one
row behind the USC bench ..
Every person that saw his got up to shake hands with him . I don't have
a clue who the guy was , but he was obviously " someone special " .
Anyone have a clue who this guy was ? I have been curious all day about
it . He was african american and looked to be about 30 years old ..

You mean old fashion Ali - Frazier boxing like I still love , or the tough
guy cage fighting ? I will start following this guy if he is the old fashioned
kind .. I use to love watching the fights ... You don't hardly see
heavy weights anymore it seems ...

Ali-Frazier style! Dude is a definite up and comer. Will have to beat some good guys to make him a Champion, but he's got the raw talent to definitely contend for it.

According to the fight results listed on his Wikipedia page, the guy's a BEAST. And he's managed by a major promoter (Golden Boy), so maybe he'll get a shot.
27 wins, all by knockout, is pretty impressive no matter who you're fighting.

Dude is definitely a beast!! He will have a task ahead of him to get the championship belt. I'm hoping he at least gets his shot!! According to Dan Rafael he's going to have to wait until the Klitschko's retire b4 they will even begin to have a shot at the belt. He says 3 years before that happens. Then sort of a top 7-10 tournament kind of way to the championship

That's what is throwing me off, maybe he meant behind our bench?

Yeah, he's definitely a Bama guy. I just read his Wiki page to make sure I wasn't going crazy, and it said his dream was always to play football or basketball at Alabama.

He has something many heavyweights don't possess, a combination of power, speed and especially length. On a side note, it is truly ashame how promoters have destroyed the sport. It is really why there are no heavyweight heros anymore. I spent many Friday nights with my grandfather watching Friday Night Fights in the 80's and 90's. I wish I could do that one more time.

I've seen him fight on tv a couple of times. I think he was on the undercard in a recent HBO Saturday night deal, and he absolutely wailed on the dude he was fighting. Beat the piss out of the guy in only a couple of rounds. It was awesome to watch. If he lands a clean shot on you, you are going down. He doesn't seem to be overly polished from a technical/fundamental standpoint, but what he lacks there he makes up for in strength and speed.
Agree with everyone else - the guy is a freak and goes beast mode everytime he steps in the ring. Boxing isn't the same sport it was even 20 years ago in terms of exposure and notoriety, but within the sport he will be a big name in the next few years.

Not a USC guy and he's more along the age of 26/27. My good friend Deontay Wilder. Probably was there just to enjoy the game as he played basketball in high school and a little bit for Shelton.
