2 great coaches, media portrays them as enemies. They both know football, just two very different styles of coaching

They're rivals, obviously, but they have a genuine respect for one another and are very civil to one another. Their coaching styles are just as different as night and day.

LSU is a top 10-12 all time program at worst. Working on their 3rd NC in the past 8 years. Also won a NC in '58 and had some awesome teams with Charlie McClendon, etc.

However you rank them historically, Alabama and LSU are the top programs in college football at this time. Saban built up both, but Miles has done a phenomenal job sustaining what he inherited.

I like you Morgan but LSU was the equivalent of Auburn till Saban got there. Cholly mac got his ass handed to him repeatedly by the Bear. I'm not sure that he ever won a game against him. They didn't even sniff a National Championship from 58' till Saban

If we count championships like Alabama does than we have 7 of them. 1908, 1935, 1936, 1958, 1962, 2003, and 2007. Plus LSU has more all around championships than anyone in the SEC with 49, boom

There's still a top 10-12 all time program. The football warehouse formula that everybody loves to cite here (b/c Bama is #1 in it) has LSU #9 all time. And Bear was beating everybody back then, not just McClendon.
Also FWIW, Auburn is probably about #15 all time. We don't want to admit it, but they aren't exactly Ole Miss.

7< 13 (14). Hahaha even when LSU stretches it as far as they can ..... They still only have about half the championships we have LMAO.

I have noticed that Saban is all about the business of football so today's foes could be tomorrow's assistant coach or source. Even if Les or some other head coach would never work for Saban he might have info on some assistant coach and Saban would do well to get an honest opinion from him.

I imagine that Miles and Saban have a pretty good relationship. They have a lot of respect for each other and they are the only men who can understand/appreciate what the other goes through on a daily basis.
