With all the coaching jobs coming available this year, I keep hearing a common thought about whether a coach would leave one conference to come into the SEC.
For example: Jimbo Fisher would never leave FSU and the ACC to come to the SEC because his path to the national championship is easier at FSU.
On the surface I get the logic but the SEC is home to the last 6 BCS Champs and last years game had 2 SEC teams in the game. So while it appears easier to get to the game outside the SEC, you're actually more likely to get to the game, and even win it, if you're inside the SEC.
Thoughts?
