Join us tonight at 8:00 CST sharp for our almost weekly BOL expert chat. The staff will answer your Alabama sports and recruiting questions.
The Chat will begin promptly at 8:00 PM CST and will close at 9:00 CST sharp (tonight).
the Participants & our roles
Lucky -- Moderator. (Not present)
Tim Watts -- Moderator ... Alabama Football and Basketball Recruiting Coverage ... Alabama incoming freshman ... Alabama Basketball
Charles Power -- Alabama Football and Basketball Recruiting Coverage
Travis Reier -- Alabama Football and General College Football
Trevor Hewitt -- Alabama Football and assists in recruiting coverage
Chris Walsh -- Alabama Football and Basketball
Shane Youngblood -- Alabama Football Recruiting and assists in Alabama football coverage.
#1. Every question must be directed specifically to an individual staffer.
Example: Travis: Who are the top three freshman to contribute in your opinion?
Note: Our staff has been instructed to not answer any questions that are not specifically directed to a staff by name.
#2. Ask questions specific to our staff's coverage areas. For example, do not ask Charles Power a questions about how the quarterbacks are performing during fall camp. Or don't ask, Tim Watts why 247Sports ranks XYZ prospect so low?
Note: Please review the staff list and the areas of expertise before asking questions.
#3. Be extraordinarily brief and specific with your question and only ask one question per post. Please do not ramble in your question.
#4. Please avoid general conversation in the thread during the chat. As moderator, I will likely delete general conversation. I want to make sure that our staff sees all of the questions and the BOL audience can easily find their responses.
#5. It is OK to ask multiple questions, but please don't machine gun our staff with question after question until the majority of our audience can ask at least one question. Be fair.
#6. VERY IMPORTANT: please read the board before asking a question. If the question has already been answered, please do not ask it again. Our staff has been instructed to answer the question by saying Already answered.
#7. Our staff is to "quote" the question they are answering.
#8. Please make your questions and answers FREE (non VIP), unless they contain extremely sensitive information.
#9. Questions are only to be answered by the BOL Staff listed above. All other responses are subject to being deleted from the thread.
Tim will unlock this thread at 8:00 PM CST sharp and we will get down to business.
Thanks and let's have a great chat.

Howdy - I'm also posting today's notebook right now, so lots of stuff for everyone tonight.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
Iron Bowl predictions?
Didn't waste any time. It is tough with rivalry games like these, but I think Alabama is too much for Auburn. Alabama 38-6
Fulton at corner or Geno at Star rest of year?
Here. Alabama 42, Auburn 7

UA covers. I'll go 48-6
Alabama 42, Auburn 10
Shane's national championship prediction:
USC 31 Wisconsin 30
Going to be tough to have the chat tonight with all the board issues. To any staff member with knowledge: Will the SEC start pursuing 2 additional members with the big16 adding 2 more teams or are they content with 14 for now?
Board should be working fine now. Please clear your cache. That should resolve any lingering issues you might have.
pouring salt in the wound
Good question. Hard to get a read on it right now, but during today's practice Geno was working in both the dime and nickel packages as we had in the Daily Briefing. I think if he does well he's not going anywhere.

I thought you guys were asking me my 2013 prediction. Both teams young and stacked for next year.
LOL. They can't be worse than 2012.
I've said all along the league will eventually go to 16. It's just a matter of timing and getting the right programs (i.e. TV markets).
