Anything is possible. A spot would have to open up obviously, but Saban holds Dooley in high reguard and it would not surprise me.

Staff(anyone): Which recruit from this years recruiting class so far will get playing time besides Derrick Henry and OJ Howard?
This post was edited by clayton4rtr 20 months ago
I think a lot of people forget that there's seven new starters, and the defense had so many guys get drafted. The defense is pretty darn good, it just doesn't have the same experience as last year's D.
That Alabama could play some pro-style offenses really works to Alabama's advantage.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
Roc Thomas and Roderick Taylor are two possibilities, but like Tim noted, UA takes it one class at at time and like this class, I think you'll see the next flurry of 2014 commits on the junior days starting January.

Lucky: Where were you last Saturday night (hmmmm Sunday morning at 2:30am)?
If you dreamed you were a sleep and you woke up, would you be awake?
That's kind of one of the offseason things that I like to do, and really crunch the numbers, but I'm with you that 2011 was the best. This year's is up there, but that defense last year is going to be tough to top.

Quantifying Pressure of being #1 -- has anyone ever seen a scale of some sort related to this -- Just wonder what impact it really has?
Great question, because that always seems to happen doesn't it?
How about this: Whichever receiver is the least injured.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. In fact, Happy Turkey Day to everyone on BOL.
hehe, Good answer.
I think you got it right with Howard- he would be my best bet. There are still spots out there but a few names that pop out would be Allen, DB's (depending on how they finish at CB), a few RB's given the rotation, and then Tunsil (should he pick UA) and Grant Hill could potentially step in the second year.
Leon Brown should have a very good shot at right tackle. Saban has a good track record of bringing JUCO guys that contribute immediately.
I've seen some film of Brian Clark- good prospect who has a shot at finishing as a top 10 type in the state. I know national analyst Gerry Hamilton was impressed as well. I'm going to follow up once the season's over as he's progressed even more, but he's definitely one to keep an eye on in the 2014 cycle.
