I think its got some flaws, but is pretty close. Clemson is way too high and S. Carolina is way too low. I would have to put UGA in the top 10. Oregon won't be nearly what they were. 5-10 should be Louisville, S. Carolina, Florida, UGA, ND and Oregon.
IMO, the main reason A&M won't be as good is the loss of 2 top 5 draft picks (one on each side of the line). Joeckel & Moore can seriously play. The combination of losing these two stars as well as all teams now having a lot of film to study Manziel will be the reason A&M will underachieve in regards to their preseason expectations.
I wouldn't sleep on Oregon either. Although losing Kelly is big their replacement knows the system and they are bringing almost everyone back.
U lost me at "Lose all the ARK defensive stars". (G)
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
But bequette, jerry franklin, jerico nelson, tramain thomas, and isaac madison had been the mainstays of their defense for years. I never understood why people didnt see the huge step back Arky took coming.
I would argue that TAM's losses are potentially even worse on D. I think their offense will be slightly worse, and the D notably worse. To me, that makes them top25 worthy, but not #2.
Oregon will be the clear favorite in the PAC 12 this year even without Chip Kelly. Kelly is a big loss for them because he brought a lot of swagger to their program and he won a bunch of games for them in three years. Went to four straight BCS games. It will be interesting to see how the new coach handles things. You also have to factor in the NCAA investigation. They are under investigation for the Willie Lyles deal and Chip Kelly himself was involved in that. There may be some harsh penalties handed down. Stanford is good but I'm not sure how good they'll be again after losing some talent on offense and some great players on defense. USC is going down, UCLA is trending up but probably won't win the conference, Washington and Washington State are okay, Arizona is okay, Arizona State is a dangerous team with their offense and Utah is average. Oregon State should be pretty good but I don't know if they'll be good enough to beat Oregon and Stanford.
