Everyone should chill out. I agree that it is unfortunate that a scholarship opportunity was given and then he was told he would probably have to hold out a season, but it isn't like the scholarship was taken away completely....just postponed.....and for a kid who was injured. It may not be "fair" but this is the reality of the scholarship limitations now in place. If you were an employer and you offered someone a job, and then before they took the position something happened that rendered them unable to perform their duties at work, would you still bring them on AND pay them while they were unable to work for you...or would you postpone their start date? Same thing.
I feel sorry for this kid and his family. I hope he reaches his full potential on the field and in the classroom. Good luck DP.
