Will update this thread through tonight's opening round.
*Sounds like three certain first-rounders -- Milliner, Warmack and Fluker -- for UA tonight, with the real possibility of a fourth --Lacy -- and an outside shot of a fifth (Je. Williams). To recap, Alabama has had 11 first rounders in the last four drafts, with eight of those going in the last two. In all, 24 UA players have been drafted since 2009. Of those 24, 17 went in the top three rounds.
*Early projected drafted order for some 2014 eligible guys: C. Kouandjio, Mosley, McCarron, Clinton-Dix, Steen, Hubbard, Stinson, Belue, Pagan, Norwood, Fowler, Bell and Fulton.
*Seeing some victory laps from NFL draft elitists regarding Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher's low rating as a recruit. Perhaps some of those people can explain Tom Brady going in the sixth round to the Patriots. Point is, college football recruiting and the Draft are both inexact sciences. In 2009, Fisher was a 250-pound tackle whose potential wasn't anywhere close to being fulfilled. Kudos to him and CMU coaching staff on Fisher's meteoric rise. Back in 2009, no one could imagine Fisher pushing for the No. 1 overall spot in the 2013 Draft. Just like NFL people didn't view Brady as a starter in their league back in 2000.
*If Luke Joeckel is sitting there at 2 and my Jags take a defensive player from Oregon I'll become physically ill.

Will CNS be at the draft tonight?
Crimson Caravan is in NYC tonight, so I'm thinking he'll swing by Radio City Music Hall.
He is here. My office is on the same block as Radio City Music Hall. Saw a few players yesterday but no Bama guys.
Apparently the caravan is across the street from radio city music hall. Also heard they changed the caravan order around so coach can make both events.
If White bounces back to prior form and has a decent year, I would think he would be drafted. Should run in the 4.4s, right?

Nice I just looked it up. It's literally outside my door and across. I am going to walk over there and see if I can get in.
Yeah, he'll be in there. He'll workout better than Bell and Norwood. He dominates the Fourth Quarter program from I've been told.
Hahaha Joeckel being there and the Jags taking a defender from f'ing Oregon would be the most Jags thing ever
You think Cooper would be a first round pick if eligible this year?
I personally think yes really without question as he has so many assets.
Not sure he's at that point in his development just yet but seeing how it's a down year for WRs, he might have been.
Yea I mean if you are an NFL team do you take Patterson over Cooper? Keenan Allen? The kid from WVU?
Cooper can get open, has outstanding ball skills, and he can catch the ball in traffic. Sure he doesn't really know how to block that well and probably runs the wrong routes from time to time because he is young but who cares.
I love the draft. I am not even a huge NFL fan but I love the prospect evaluation.
I'm interested to see what they do with the new GM. Gene Smith, with his smartest guy in the room complex, would take an OLB from Sewanee over Joeckel at 2.
LOL, it could be worse.....you could have Tebow in pale green, black, and gold causing daily questions throughout the franchise of WHEN is it his time. How's he in the locker room...and the other billion questions that come with him being on an NFL team
New Member of The 247 Crew!
Pagan has a chance this year to jump over some of those guys, IMO. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him getting first round consideration after next year.
