Could be. Want to see a little more from him before moving him past Stinson. Opportunity is there for him to make it happen.
One of the best fantasy football sites...
Just saw this in a rumor mill:
Scott Bischoff of NewEraScouting.com says that the Jaguars will take Ezekiel Ansah at No. 2.
Enjoy the draft Travis!
Mcshay is saying he thinks the Chiefs are gonna go with Fisher, and he has the Eagles taking Lane Johnson at 4 over Joeckel... If that happens I will hurl myself off a bridge..
I saw ESPN doing a special on low-pick/pro-bowl guys and thought the same thing. It's funny how people talk how "stars don't matter" and all, but they forget that the NFL isn't really much better at projecting quality players, and that's after years of physical growth and high level college tape to study. It's all about rating a potential and the odds on how close he can get to that potential. The Fisher story sounds real warm and fuzzy when you focus on him, but not so much when you realize that there are hundreds of D1 draft eligible guys that were 2* or 3* players, and only a handful will actually sign with an NFL team.
Fisher has the measurables, but the lack of pedigree makes it a ballsy pick by the Chiefs. Won't be able to cover their butts if a guy from Central Michigan busts.
It's all sitting right there for my Jags at 2. Take Joeckel, Tony Boselli-style. For a soft team in need of some toughness, you take a big man with a nasty streak.
Happy now, Travis?
LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE! Does that answer it? Haha! Props to new GM Caldwell for not outsmarting himself, which his predecessor did on an annual basis.
Well, I'm happy that you're so happy. Haha!
Jordan pick bodes well for a guy like Adrian Hubbard.
Posted this in the other draft thread.....nice new digs (g)
Yeah, I guess they're OK. NFL unis are bordering on Arena Ball territory, though.
O yeah I agree. I actually meant the (g) as in joking. Not a fan but its not that much worse than it was imho. I'm not a fan of that whatever green. Like the gold and black but not the florida light green.
Love Warmack but can't argue with Zona going with Cooper there. Guy is a beast, even if he did play at UNC. (g)
Further illustration of shift in value from corners to wide receivers: 5'8 receiver goes ahead of bigger cover corners. Again, not that there aren't top 10 talents at corner. Game has changed to the point where you have to go offense if given the choice.
Playing against atrocious defenses made Austin look considerably better.
True but NFL rules these days will give him similar space to work.
Good for Dee. He's a top 10 talent who was deserving of his spot. That said, get the feeling that without the Rams' trade, he may not have gone top 10. Worked out great for him.
Warmack to the Titans at No. 10. Chris Johnson has to like that. Fluker being talked about to the Chargers at No. 11? Could be UA's first three-peat of 2013.
NEver would have thought that by the spring game but we'll see.
What a steal Floyd will be for someone
