Gotta love it RTR
Made my morning!
RTR Eddie V!!!
This is sounding better and better. ND folks are sweating it out today.
That's a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong flight.
Keeping fingers crossed here.
Lets see - go to ND... get embarassed by SEC schools in bowls and have fake, dead girlfriends that end up being dudes.. OR - play for Nick Saban.
Not any longer than a flight to South Bend.
I hope he got the extra leg room on his flight. (g)
Cold, but should be a nice day for him to arrive. I'm trying to decide myself, do I really like him because of his ability? or do I like the ranking even more so it over powers everything else
Someone give me a ranking of the last few Dlinemen were seriously contending for. Who you got at the top? TIA TIA TIA TIA...(How nice is it knowing whomever the name is on the dotted line come Wednesday, it will be a potentially very productive player?) Times - they are G O O D !!!
There's something special about a driven California athlete. I'm totally generalizing here, but having spent time out there, their (soCal people, not Hollywood turds) overall view on life and enjoying life and dealing with adversity is a different angle compared to the rest.
If it is an official, on Bama ’s tab, then he might be in first class…or at least the new economy comfort.
I think he still may end up at ND. I mean they have so many hot imaginary chicks up there, it's hard to pass up.
You are not off here at all. And of course its not everyone...but the overall general personality of a SCal person is much more laid back, go with the flow, have fun and enjoy life. At least until they pull onto the on ramp of the 405 or I10 (g).
The climate, scenery puts you in a different mood and you see it more than not. LOL, I remember the first day of work, I was in prop. management for a large REIT in scal, all the leasing consultants, nice looking girls in their 20's - it sells right? I swear my first day in this office within an hour of being there on a Monday morning, the conversation turned to So what are we doing this weekend? It's not even 10am on Monday and their planning the weekend. Then quickly it turned to so what am I doing this weekend and I was in too. Where we all going
Too bad there's not a football game atmosphere. I still believe he's going to come away with so much more than he has at the Cali schools and ND...I've been to all three of those campuses and inside facilities, albeit 20+ years ago, at ND and SC and there not a comparison. I also believe the size of Tuscaloosa is going to appeal to him as his locale in CA is not big city as its a fairly distant suburb of Sacramento. I've said before, something makes this connect for me and feel right. I thinks it's going to materialize.
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
He's not from SoCal...granted he's looking at two schools there, but from his interviews he just doesn't fit the mold you describe here IMO.
Economy comfort is the way to fly. Made my trip to Phoenix pleasant.
Depends on how he is flying. If it is through Dallas then a 2.5 hour flight followed by a 2 hour flight. If through Atlanta then a little over 5 with another hour back to Tuscalooa. We need more direct flights into Tuscaloosa.
Love the fact that he is visiting Ttown and under safe haven of dead period after that. We know without a doubt Bama gets the last word. Never a bad thing when CNS is involved.
I don't think you have seen the John McKay Center yet. It is ridiculously nice.
