What would a reasonable person do in his situation?
He claims he didn't perpetuate this lie, but, when he had reason to know this was a lie, he did nothing to stop it. Instead, he continued to talk about his gf.
I can't understand how anyone and I mean anyone short of babies and the mentally ill could possibly believe anything that has been said or reported by ESPN in the last 48/72 hours about Te'o. The timeline has now changed 3 times in as many days. Yet Te'o and ESPN expect us to continue to believe EVERYTHING they say. When Schapp says "you have to believe me" and keeps talking about how much he "believed" Te'o, he's trying not only to convince us but I believe convince himself of the validity of what he was being told. This is quickly becoming the largest hoax ever in sports. The hoax is being put on by Te'o and ESPN not by Tuiasopo(sp?) He's just trying to fall on the sword for Te'o and his hope for a pay day
"The love of my life". Saddest part is that there will be tons of people who actual believe this. Everyone knows this is most gullible country in the world.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”

No kidding. We are the " infomercial Capital of the World" for a reason, ya know...
