From ESPN's Adam Schefter:
After injuring his hamstring last week, Alabama RB Eddie Lacy now hopes to perform all drills at Alabama's Pro Day on March 13. No combine.

Bad break. Sometimes some guys just cannot stay healthy.
Hope that doesn't cost him money.
I Ain't got no Worries - Lebron James
I don't read too much into these pre combine injuries for the most part. Trent didn't run at the combine. Eddie will be ready for his pro day and will impress. I wonder if they receive advice from staff about if they feel like it would help or hurt their stock if they participate in the combine.
Also I feel like that I might not be alone in really liking the attention the football program and University get when all the ESPN and NFL ilk flock to Tuscaloosa. In terms of, more national exposure (recruiting).

What's the deal with our players and the combine? Had a couple miss it lastyear, or only do certain drills....
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
Maybe. But if you show out at the combine then everyone around the country knows it. You get a 30 clip for your pro day. I'm pretty sure saban would rather have all his players go to the combine and show everyone up.
This is kind of a bummer i was looking forward to seeing Eddies stats lined up next to the other very qualified RBs. Hope more than anything he has a speedy recovery so he can kill it at pro day

Remember that Alabama has been playing in the last game of the season for the last two years. Less time to recover before the combine.

Last time I checked everyone and their mother saw what Trent did on his pro day. Just ask his current RB's coach.
It seems like most of our guys have nagging injuries to start their careers. I remember at one point last year, during the preseason and early season, Trent, Upshaw, Ingram, Kirkpatrick, Barron, Carpenter, and several others missed time due to injury.
