I'm curious to see what kind of crowd shows up because there's a big dust storm in Lubbock -- and if you've never experienced one you don't mess with them.
Here's the warning:
Very strong winds and blowing dust continuing across the South Plains, Southern panhandle and rolling plains this afternoon and evening.
Dust Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 pm CST this evening.
High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 pm CST this evening.
Timing: Strong winds have persisted much of the afternoon and are expected to persist into late this evening.
Winds: West to Southwest between 35 and 45 mph with gusts around 60 mph becoming northwest late this afternoon and more northerly this evening.
Visibility: widespread blowing dust at times reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less.
Impacts: several Multi-vehicle major accidents have been reported and travel will continue to be hazardous and is discouraged. Winds of this speed will generate extensive blowing dust with visibility reduced to near zero, especially immediately adjacent to open fields. Construction sites and dry lake beds. Sustained winds of this magnitude can result in downed power lines and power outages.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
Residents should secure lightweight outdoor objects such as holiday decorations and trash cans.
A Dust Storm Warning means severely limited visibilities are expected with blowing dust. Travel could become extremely dangerous. Persons with respiratory problems should make preparations to stay indoors until the storm passes.

Need a win badly
It's basketball season?
I really only want to see IMPROVEMENT on offense. A win would be a bonus, but only if we are fluid and productive on offense...
C'mon Tide...hopefully there's something there...a pulse, a heart...anything!
1960 Les Paul
I think fluidity on offense is what keeps us from being a threat. It's tough to do what Grant wants to do with only 8 guys and no inside presence. Maybe starting Pollard and going small, basically abandoning the post, will create some O.
Starting 5 - Lacey, Randolph, Releford, Pollard and Cooper - smaller lineup.
Lacey opens with 3
Anybody wanna give me their ESPN 3 info so I can watch this game. I have charter and cant get it.
Another one - inside-outside. Good ball movement so far. 6-0
8-0 after Pollard hits a pair of FTs
Tech finally scores - inside 8-2
10-4 - Williams hit for Tech and Pollard got an easy tip-in.
3 for Williams, 10-7
Another 3 for Lacey - Tide really comes out shooting.
13-7 at the first break. Lacey is 3-for-3, all 3s
Tide's pressure forces a turnover and layup for Lacey - already has 11 points.
Releford one of two FTs, 16-7.
Tide looks like a different team tonight.

let's see if TR can hit fT's..
Tech stinks, thank goodness.
MUCH better passing and concentration so far in this game. The VCU game was just horrific from the tip...
Tech is abysmal and they are coming off a horrific loss. But hey we will take it at this point.
Tide up 21-10 at second break.
Dakota Slaughter in the game already.
Tide shooting 54.5% 6-11, nine rebounds and five assists already.
Interesting, no Jacobs or Gueye yet. Tide going with all the smaller players so far.
With 2 on the shot clock, Lacey drains another 3. 24-12
Gueye in the game now.
Is it safe to say we go as Trevor Lacey goes?
