Since its officially 1/7/13, its time to start cooking.
We're going for Baby Backs and Chicken smoked on my buddies Oklahoma Joe (that thing was heavy as %*-&). I'll be washing it down with Naked Pigs and Dreamland sauce. I'll be drinking some Santo Domingo coffee from Dominican Republic while I get her started up. Unfortunately I left my Conecuh pork seasoning back in Nola, but the ribs won't suffer to bad.
I just started the brining the chickens, and I think they'll have a little kick...

Looks outstanding. I do disagree with the beverage compliment for the meal ; however. I'm cooking a
Jamaican jerk pork butt with some home brew and ipa's
Spare ribs, smoked sausage, slaw, collards, black-eyed peas. Modus Hoperandi IPA and Laphroaig scotch to drink. Pics later.
Getting ready to put the Butt on.
Damn, I really should have taken the day off. I should be home warming up my smoker.
Bad champion I am.
What did you use for the brine ashe? TIA
The joy of working from home. Got the lap top set up in front of SportCenter all day, while checking on the Butt.
To be honest i would rather be working away from home today just to keep my mind off of the game. Got almost 12 hours until kickoff, and its going to go by so slow.

Gumbo, baby back ribs, all the trimmings. Good friends good spirits. all to enjoy #15 RTR
The natty light is to cleanse the palate and for broke friends. I'm drinking mostly naked pigs, Great Divide Brews, and Sierra Nevadas
Crawfish with sausage & new potatoes.
Spinach dip, Cheese spread w/hot pepper jelly…Chips and misc crackers.
Homemade chocolate chip cookies…ALABAMA sugar cookies
Yes Okie Joe is heavy but well worth it.
Mostly kosher salt and onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper, and a lot of cayenne. Pretty much what was available to me at 3 am
While my cousins kitchen is amazingly well stocked for a freshly divorced man, its still a divorced man's kitchen. I was glad to see he had salt.
Ive never used one yet, but it looks like a beast. If I had an uncle with me instead of my cousin, my back would have been shot before my 30th birthday.

pizza, dip, chips, plenty of Mich Ultra!
I'm gonna keep it simple
Burgers, dogs, and wings...and a group of 8 or so
Pics to follow
All set up at Sun Life Stadium. Prepping to grill chicken sandwiches with avocado and mojo sauce, Cuban style.
And so it begins....
And for y'all down in Miami, try some Boliche at a Cuban joint. Its basically Cuban pot roast with chorizo in the center. You'll thank me later.
Directly behind the ESPN broadcast on south beach.

About to get busy:
Conecuh sausage dogs
Cheddar stuffed burgers
Cheese n crackers
Slow cooker French dip sandwiches. My world famous Rotel dip. Lots of Conecuh and various other snack type things. And to wash it all down, a brand new bottle of Blantons. And a Bud Light or two along the way. Sorry no pics at the moment.

+1 for the Blanton's alone. Enjoying some at the stadium as we speak ;)
Back at cha my friend!
Due to work today, my menu is lacking in comparison to a normal gameday. Rotel, buffalo chicken dip, conecuh, and a couple of pork tenderloins on the green egg with some garlic/lime marinade. I'll be drinking on some crimson tides(crown and cranberry) and some home brew.
