Workouts begin this morning. First guy that Mike Mayock mentions on the live broadcast (NFL Network) that he wants to see this morning is Chance Warmack.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
One thing they changed this year is that you set for a full second and then start for the 40. There's no starting beep, or gun, if you will.
Terrin Armstead just ran a 4.65 -- amazingly good for a lineman.
... by the way, that's unofficial. Armstead is from Arkansas-Pine Bluff BTW.
I think Fluker is wearing No. 17, or something like that.
Is that official?
Cooper's up 6-2, 1/8, 311 weight, 33 inch arms. False start on first go.
Unofficial 5.13 -- that's a really good time for a guard.
1.73 10-yard split.
6-4 5/7, 339 36 3/4 arm.
False start first go.
Faster sleeker Fluker ran 5.35
He didn't get off to a good start.

Mayock; "The NFL knows that he's been coached hard, every Alabama kid has been coached hard. They're expected to show up on time, they're program players, you don't have much problem with them. It does help coming out of Alabama today, trust me. It's Almost kind of like Miami in the 2000s."
Armstead second attempt: 4.71 unofficial.
That kid can move for a big guy.

BTW, Fluker did do 21 reps in the bench press.
Alvin Bailey from Arkansas just pulled a hamstring. Looks like his day may be done.
Keep going Mike.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
Cooper, second go: 5.25 unofficial
Mayock doesn't think Warmack will run as fast, but says he reminds him of Steve Hutchison. Huge praise.
A 300+ pound man running a 4.65.
Fluker's second attempt: 5.32
10-yard split: 1.83
Mayock points out he has average speed, which is all he need. He's so long you can't get around him.
That's a big dude
No doubt. His arm length is unreal
