This is awesome thanks Chris :) btw have you guys considered giving us a Bama in the pros type report every couple of weeks for baseball? Would be cool to see how alums are doing and what minor league teams they are on and such.
question: I was just wondering if anyone knows if Wade Wass is hurt or something? Just wondering , because he was supposed to be a stud catcher and the best player in our recruiting class. Thanks
Fractured ankle, out a couple of weeks. Booth is catching in his stint.
I am pretty sure they have in the past, given full spring training has not started yet will be a little while till all the different teams are sorted out or what level guys will be at. Spring training also gets a little rough near the end when they start releasing guys, gets uncomfortable when a trainer comes and gets the guy next to you and we both know he is getting cut.
Could have sworn I posted in here..anyway.
2 guys to keep an eye on during spring training, Hyatt and Rutledge. Hyatt impressed last season with Reading in AA and Rutledge actually made a splash in the majors. Kent Mathis should be a AA/AAA guy this year too.
The details have been in numerous stories (if you want to check them out) including Sunday's game story that described the domino effect with the lineup: http://alabama.247sports.com/Article/Tides-Roberts-gets-some-redemption-in-opening-series-sweep--117122
What happened to Austen Smith and Andrew Miller?
who will pitch against USM Tuesday?
