This will be added to the story:
“This is a very serious matter and we are very disappointed in the actions that have resulted in the charges against these student-athletes. In this type of situation, the Athletics Department works in conjunction with the University. We will have more to say at the appropriate time.”

Failure to monitor IMO. I'm sure NTY will have NCAA on our doorstep. We need REC interceptors ready to deflect towards Lee County strangler.
Let Saban get back from vacation. I hope he could enjoy it a little bit. I'm sure with this screw up he didn't. I'm sure he will address the players individually.
Laughing...monitor what? I assume this is a joke.
just a hunch. the decision on their futures will be made by someone above CNS.
There will be no NCAA ramifications.
Saban will never get a "failure to monitor." He may get a "monitor too much or too many areas," if the NCAA ever has such a thing.
This is isolated in not indicative of the team as a whole. A couple bad apples influence some weaker spirited kids -- usually the way these things happen.
Btw ... that poor pageant girl picked the absolute worst time to get arrested. ouch.

Reading between the lines, expelled. Not even the blade of unicorn can save them.
You're either incredibly stupid or a troll. I'm guessing the latter.
Are these charges, if confirmed, not felonies? If so, no choice but to cut the cords. A true tragedy for four young men at
such a critical time in their lives. May they get good counsel and work towards righting this wrong and move past it. RTR!
Someone is above CNS !?!

Wow, did everyone really think he was serious? The sarcasm is dripping off of his post.

I have No understanding of this situation. This makes no sense to me. You have free room and board, free college degree, play on a national championship team on the biggest stage in college football, and you go and do something like this. Sometimes I understand when a person tries to steal a candy bar or something similar out of a 7-11, but to be on the stage that these young men are on and to beat up a person just to get a few dollars is just plain stupid. I'm sorry for the University of Alabama and for what these young men have done to our reputation. Only thing I can figure is they had to have been high on something. I'm sure at least two of these guys were influenced by the other ones, but that is some strong influencing . Pettway and Williams both were looking at future playing time and a possible NFL career, now thrown down the drain.
obviously that was a joke. not the end of the world folks.
Exactly. How could I have drafted that any differently to make it more sarcastic? Pretty funny that it was taken seriously by anyone.
Blade of Unicorn....
Wait your saying there is someone above CNS?
Nope, not even him.
Will read more posts next time. Fail....
