Users can get free text alerts by consecutive months of service (applicable to monthly members), user ratings and reputations, posting on the message boards and referring members to BOL. All of these services are expected to be added once our engineers complete the rewrite of the user management and reputations system which is expected during Q1 2013.

For those who haven't had text alerts before, it's definitely worth it.

Lucky, two questions...I want to become an annual member, but can't afford to part with $100 at one time right now...
Is the only way to get annual subscription a lump sum?
Have you ever thought about/is it possible to do annual commitments charged monthly? What I mean by that is I can either choose monthly and go month to month, or I choose annual and get charged monthly but I am responsible for 12 payments. If I cancel early I get charged a lump sum for the remaining months.
Completely agreed. Worth it.

We don't have either of those options.
It's not that I am against them, its just the time that it takes to build layers of different user accounts from a technology standpoint. We want to build that type of detail, but right now we have too many mission critical services that we need to complete. We are running behind in our development schedule about 6 months, so its hard for us to detour. I apologize for the inconvenience. st
Sweet I've updated mine. Looking forward to the updates.. Thanks BOL Staff GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you briefly discuss what would be covered by the 247 updates and BOL updates? If I sign up to receive both can I expect my phone to be going off all day?
a'ight, thank you 247 crew / bamaonline crew...
i checked both 247 and bol.... what are the alerts for 247?
Thanks for all you do !! ROLL TIDE
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
Lucky, I respectfully request that texts be an advertising free zone. I've got desktop and mobile ad fatigue as it is. Getting spam in the form of text alerts would push me over the edge. Thanks.
Significant recruiting updates from 247Sports. Elite player commitments only.
We aren't selling text alerts ads.
I'm with you on this...I can barely afford to get tickets every weekend, guess i'll just do without.
Going to the games > Text alerts
Be sure you scroll back up and read my original message. I just added the BOL texting protocol. When you should expect to receive a text from the BOL Staff.
Outstanding! I've really been looking forward to this feature.
I'll just have to remember to not look at my phone if I ever get stuck having to DVR a game...
Any specific way your mobile number must be entered for example:
No. All are good. It converts the number
The price of victory is high, but so are the rewards.
