Well, I was kind of hoping it was caused by being "ON" the court rather than off.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
Why? Because Mitchell has a terrible attitude and has been a cancer to the team for a long time and we're happy something is finally being done about it?
Check the upvotes. I think it is up to 63 now. There is a reason for that.
Goes for everyone that is rooting against a player who puts the hours in for our college that it takes to contribute to a team. So he gets emotional, you all need to grow up.
Off topic, this board has gotten terrible lately. You consider him a cancer to the team, I consider you a cancer to the fan base. Fair enough?
Agreed, HHM...i thot JMic was lost, but he seems to get it now. Those two do better without the other around to egg each other on and get in trouble, anyways...

Have you watched our team this year?
I think CAG done what needed to be done and hopefully TM will learn from it and come back an make a contribution to the team....with that being said if we can't find someone who can shoot consistantly from the outside we've got a tough row to hoe with or without TM.
I was rooting for tony. But the truth it doesnt look like he put in the time in the off season to improve his game. He is the same player as last year but now teams are keying on his weaknesses which are he doesnt drive the ball well from the perimeter and he has no mid range jumper. Now he is pouting a lot because he is being exposed as a extremely athletic but low basketball skilled player. Hopefully he learns from this and turns it around.

While Tony Mitchell definitely has a big time attitude and has for a while.. I couldn't disagree more about his game. I think he actually has made huge strides this year from last year. Precisely his mid-range shot and 3-point shot. While neither are all that consistent yet this year they're both much improved.
Tony's biggest challenge to me (again outside of attitude) is that he doesn't know how to let the game come to him. He has a knack for getting to the rim off missed shots and timing those types of things but if the easy ones don't come he tends to become a negative force on the court and it affects every aspect of his game. When he's scoring and involved offensively, he's the best defender on the team.
Bro, I think you're being a little self-righteous, so do us all a favor and stand down.
i would like more from staff on this other than "conduct detrimental to the team". I mean you really don't know anything else? certainly would like something more than 4 pages of members speculating he was in a bar fight,or he got into with a trainer. Dont get me wrong i love the staff and this site. but we pay for something more here and the story just posted gave us nothing more than an al.com story.
a down vote, really. for wanting more information. what a douche bag. go back to tidesports why dont you!
You are right, that is why he is suspended? Or is Coach Grant a cancer as well? This entitlement bullsh*t drives me insane. He should and is being held to a higher standard because he is a PRIVILEGED individual with a God given talent that is providing him with a free education. He can grow up or he can continue acting like a child. He won't be doing it on national t.v. anymore though will he?
Don't defend ignorance and selfishness.
Well...in fairness to the staff (coaches), this has been a culmination of events. The altercation with the trainers / doctors was just the straw that broke the camels back.
As for the BOL staff, this is not info that is made available to anyone outside the program so it's hard to come by. Then, when they do, I am sure a responsible reporter can't just throw out info based on the opinion of an inside source like a random MSG board poster can (see me for example). I happen to have a friend in the program that is there everyday, and I trust his information.
The BOL staff is the beat around. Recognize!
