SIAP haven't seen this thread yet - anybody want to take a guess what next years team will look like on Oline maybe which freshman RB might get some looks or Dline
DE - Stinson - SR
NG - Ivory - JR
DE - Pagan - JR
Jack - Dickson - JR
Sam - Hubbard - JR
DE - Fanning - SO
NG - Lake - SO
DE - Pettway - SO / Tomlinson - FR
Jack - Devall - SO / Pettway - SO
Sam - Tana Patrick - SR
Gonna be a sick defense.
Cyrus and Steen return although Steen may move to left guard. Kelly seems pretty clear at center. I think Arie K at right guard and Leon Brown at right tackle. Vogler at tight end and OJ at H-Back
It will be difficult for any of the new RBs to get on the field with such a wealth of talent already there, but Derrick Henry being there all spring and summer will give him a leg up on the other guys.
LT - Cyrus
C- Ryan Kelly
RG - Steen
RT - Ari Kouandjio
Kelly or Lindsay at center, Leon Brown at RT, Shepherd or Arie Kouandjio at LG? We've had some of the same guys for so long, it seems like, that I don't know much about the other guys or where they'd even fit in.
I wouldn't count out Alphonse Taylor on the offensive line. Guy is a just an imposing figure and would be like a bulldozer in the running game. I'd love to see Arie win a starting job though. Should be some great competition.
Ah, I forgot about Taylor. I can't wait to see how it shapes up. It's gonna be weird not having Barrett to just plug in wherever.
Posted this on tBB, starters thread:
Going to make a couple.. bold-ish predictions on who wins the job in a few slots.
RB- TJ Yeldon
H-back- Jalston Fowler/Derrick Henry
TE- OJ Howard, Brian Vogler/Malcolm Faciane... Vogler/Faciane will almost certainly be in to block, really think OJ is our top guy with him coming in early, though.
WR- Amari Cooper
WR- DeAndrew White... if Foster makes it in, I could see he and Bell/Shinn playing essentially starting roles.
Slot- Chris Black/Chris Jones
LT- Cyrus Kouandjio
LG- Anthony Steen or Alphonse Taylor
C- Ryan Kelly
RG- Anthony Steen or Arie Kouandjio
RT- Leon Brown
DE- Jeff Pagan
NT- Brandon Ivory/Darren Lake
DE- Ed Stinson (L. Fanning could compete for either DE spot if he isn't in the doghouse)
Jack- Denzel Devall, Xzavier Dickson... think Devall wins the job here.
LB- CJ Mosley
LB- Trey Depriest, Reggie Ragland... Ragland will see plenty of reps next year, this spot should be interesting.
Sam- Adrian Hubbard
CB- Geno Smith
CB- Deion Belue... could see a true frosh (Ardarius Stewart or Maurice Smith most likely) pushing here, but doubtful.
S- HaHa Clinton-Dix
S- Landon Collins/Jarrick Williams
K- Adam Griffith
P- Cody Mandell
If our OL is just above average and Belue improves... oh my.
Kevin Norwood and Kenny Bell will both be back next year. I also would love to see Eddie Williams factor in at safety. He was one of my favorite signees last year. Cyrus Jones may move to cornerback from what I've heard.

I think Fulton will be better than people think. He has shown flashes, like against aTm. I hope he wins a starting job, if he does.. oh my is right
I think Arie K will start at G. D Devall will take over Jack, and Dickson will move to DE.
I'd really like to see DJ Pettway get it together and play more. He has some serious ability as a pass rusher. I know it was late in the game and well out of hand but that sack he had of Golson on Monday was great.
With henry on board, I'll be curious if we go more h-back package heavy. We'll potentially have a good rotation with fowler there. The bigger thing would be that drake/hart/freshman would have to step up for main rb depth.
Meant to list Norwood beside Bell/Shinn. White and Cooper will be our starting wideouts, imo.
Norwood is starting material the way he played the other night and down the stretch this season. He is really good and experienced. I'd have him as a starter because who knows how White will look coming off his knee injury. I'm hoping he comes back 100% because he is very, very talented. Sucks that he got injured because he was on the verge of breaking out as a star. Raheem Falkins is also enrolling early so maybe he gets a look as well. Bottom line is, Bama is loaded with talent and depth.
I completely agree about Dickson moving to D-end. I told my dad the same thing the other day. They are both too good to not have more prominent roles next year. Thats the best way for them both see significant playing time together next year.
