Since I can remember. Definitely easiest of the Saban era.
I kinda wish it was tougher with a couple more UGA and UF types on it. That's how badass I think this team is going to be.
On paper it appears to be an easy schedule but you still have to line up and play the games. Anything can happen in college football. The last two years have proven that. Always tough to go undefeated in SEC play. Have to have everything go your way.
SECCG will make it legit IMO.
Well we start out #1 and as long as we don't lose we'll stay in the top two. Gotta hope we can stay focused though.
No you don't. If the schedule is easy you automatically win.
Our toughest challenge as always is our self. We have to be focused, determined and the guys have to want it.. With the talent we have Coach Sabans main concern has to be on the mental side. It is extremely challenging to keep these young men's eyes on the prize, especially after the success they have experienced. Expect a large dose of Coach Saban downplaying expectations this year. All writers choose your questions carefully this season
It seems like there's always a team that rises up in the West that we don't see coming. Last year it was A&M. I'll be curious to see who it is this time.
If I were betting, my money would be on Ole Miss.

Poor bastards getting off the bus in Tuscaloosa will probably feel like those dumped on Omaha Beach - Unknown Vol's fan
Never overlook Ole Miss or Miss. State. As bad as we beat MSU last year they had some good players in spots. Tyler Russell is a talented QB. Ole Miss obviously will have everyone's attention with their recruiting class and up tempo offense that caught us by surprise last year. I want to see how Malzahn does with Auburn too. Hope they don't jump up and surprise anyone.
much easier than 2012 because of the byes
It'll take an epic meltdown for us to not 3peat.
Beat A&M and we're in the SEC championship game. Winner plays for it all.
A&M is alrready hyped up for this game. That game along with the LSU and Ole Miss game are going to be the toughest. I dont think either of these will be a cake walk. Roll Tide Roll
Let's be real, A&M will be the only tough game. No one is gonna "jump up and bite us." We are a well-oiled machine and super talented with leadership on both sides of the ball... and have the best coach in the country. If we get past A&M we'll make it to Atlanta unscathed barring significant injuries. Anyone who thinks we should look out for any team other than the one in College Station (yes, including LSU) needs to wake the hell up.
To answer OP, 2011. No question in my mind.
Correct. We had significant holes to fill last season and that was a big reason we got bit by A&M (also a ton of injuries). I think last year had to be the weakest of the three national championship teams. 2010 had a lot of holes to fill also and did not have the kind of depth we have built up now. Last year was supposed to be the rebuilding year, not this year. Only nine seniors last year. Those are some reasons why I think this will be Saban's best team yet.
Arkansas was a great team in 2011. Went 10-2. Also traveled to Penn State and of course LSU maybe had their best team ever.
Um....no. LSU 2011 would have won a NC in 2009, 2010, or 2012.
