I will always overlook Ole Miss and State. 21-5 against both since the 2000 season, 16-2 since 2004, including some of the worst teams in Alabama history. We own that state.

Don't let the schedule fool ya. We will get the best effort of every team we play. I'm really thinking a&m will take a step back next season. LSU will be the toughest game again imho. Ole sis may be a tough out. There is a reason for so few 3peats in college football. With that being said if there is one coach who can get the job done its Saban. If this team pulls off a 3peat it will have to go down as one of the greatest feats in sports history. At least in my mind.
A 3 peat in this modern era of football is just crazy to think about. But yet it's right there for the taking.
True enough but Ole Miss played us tough last year. Tougher than I thought they would. We also had a couple of players suffer season ending injuries in the game. Their defensive line and up tempo offense gave us some trouble at times. Maybe the team overlooked them going in. MSU is a tricky team, especially in Starkville. I realize we have owned both but you can never overlook them. Auburn is a bit of an unknown too. No one knows how good they'll be under Malzahn but still as a chief rival they can't be overlooked either no matter how bad we beat them in 2012. One could also say the same thing with Butch Jones and Tennessee. I have no idea how they'll do with the players left over. Like Auburn, as a big rival, they can't be discounted.

I do. They are going to suck. Terrible offense paired with a terrible defense. Vandy will blow the doors off of UT again this year. They do have a few wins on the schedule but at Alabama after South Carolina gets finished beating them by 50 pts at home is not one of them. Short of Saban suspending the entire 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team for the game they will not leave Tuscaloosa with anything that resembles a win.
For their talent level yes, they played us tough. But let's not get too carried away...........it was 27-7 at halftime and we were up 2 TD's going to the 4th.
I have a hard time believing auburn will be much better although they can't any get worse. I think malzahn is in over his head. It wasn't that long ago he was a high school coach and only has 1 year of college head coaching experience. He could prove me wrong but that is usually a recipe for disaster in the sec. I also think Saban took mullens mojo but you never know. I just feel like a team we are not considering will give us a tough game but looking at the schedule in march its hard to say who that will be. On the other hand has any team ever won 4 out of 5 I do agree its there for the taking. Coach Saban has the tide in uncharted waters.
In August of last year Michigan, Arkansas, and Lsu were all viewed as Top Ten ranked teams and nobody was claiming that Bama had an easy schedule. This season only Texas A&M and Lsu will likely be ranked in the preseason Top Ten so everyone assumes that we'll have an easy schedule. Between VT, Arkansas, tennessee, Ole Miss, the barn, and State someone will be better than predicted. In fact I'd bet that one of those teams will rank higher than UF or USCe by the time the SECCG rolls around.
LSU ain't gonna be in the top ten.
I already called for the epic three Pete! And thy will be done
