It was interesting to say the least, very fast paced and moved around a lot. Went to former athletes that dressed liked they still had millions, to former athletes that dressed like they where broke. Of course they where all "Broke"!

Not quite all, but point taken.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
I don't think Andre Rison has accepted the fact that he is broke.

Has been irrelevant since Left-Eye went AWOL.
Rovell tweeted Rison says he's bought 1m in jewelry. His pre tax earnings in first 4 years as a pro, $1.15m.
Kinda weird that I know two people in this documentary. It's sad but they have no one to blame but themselves.
thanks for the info guys. Hope to check it out soon
No doubt. Kosar looks like the "cocaine bear"
Not pointing fingers at any poster but the vibe I get from you guys is that if you're broke and an athlete you're black. Most telling thing about the docu was that "broke" knows no color. Schilling and Brunell didn't go back to the "hood". They went back to the "gated community".
Dykstra should be going to a heavily gated community.
I hate to say it but Bama had a few to many guys on that list....Keith McCants,Latrell Sprewell and Jason Caffey who has 10 kids with 8 different women...Travis Henry pays 17 grand a month in child support...That's crazy....RTR

Sprewell is? Why did I think he owned the patent for the one time fad "spinners"?
Remember when Sprewell turned down a 3 year, $21 million dollar deal because he "had family to feed."
The Dupree one was great. I missed this one last night, but will catch a replay.
Only mildly interested really and the comments I've read affirm why it's only mild. Don't really need to see a sob story about former millionaires who didn't have enough sense to take care of themselves. 12 kids with 8 or 9 different women...really? You shouldn't need a financial advisor to teach you self-control.
very few addictions in this world, mostly just poor choices. addiction just a word most use when doing something wrong or illegal , get caught or ruin their lives. also plays well for defence attorneys in court.
Choose not a life of limitation
I don't think most of these guys are dumb but they did do some dumb things. I enjoyed listening to Leon Searcy, he was very forthcoming. McCants is still in denial ("I don't have a drug problem.").
As I watch the show, I began to reflect on the numerous times I had to counsel young Sailors during my military career. A lot of them went down this same road (women, clubs/bars, multiple marriages, divorces, rims, cars, children, child support, alcohol abuse, etc.). They did not have millions of dollars. Most were in the high risk behavior groups which is usually between the ages of 18 - 30. The Military offered all kinds of human services and development programs, and transition services to help educate its members.
I keep thinking about how these Sailors would have fared if they had been given millions of dollars while 18 - 30 years old?
You are probably correct, stupid was a little hard. I think ignorant would be a better way to put it, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Hell I am ignorant when it comes to budgeting and saving my own money, couldn't imagine what I would do if I became a millionaire.
Well said....alot of those athletes were white....Keith McCants lord...gotta pray for that guy...but many of them had one thing in common..dippin their wicks too damn much and making more candles....they get child support judgements while they are athletes, then dont do anything about it when they arent playing anymore...just all bad, bad people, bad advice, leeches....Kosar said he was paying for 60 cellphones...WTF!
What? I didn't think anyone here was being racist???
