Since Dorian reopened his recruitment last night, what are the chances of the staff pressing him a little more and see if we can't get this big man! Would fill a need with a quality player! After reading Tim's perspective below, you gotta think that we still have a little bit of a chance with the big man! I would leave family for my dream school, just saying lol!
Johnson is on this list for different reasons that the other four prospects. Alabama never had much of a chance with the Pennsylvania native because of distance from home but Johnson has Alabama high among his list of favorites and the Tide staff did a great job of evaluating and offering him early. In fact Johnson told several people close to him that Alabama was his dream school but just wasn’t willing to leave his family. -Tim Watts

My mom and Paul "Bear" Bryant's mom had something in common....They didn't raise anything but a winner!
I think he will wind up at Pitt. We didn't even finish in the top 3.
Some guys just do not want to leave their home area and comfort zone. Sure would be nice to have him, but I understand and have no problem with a recruit not wanting to leave his home area. Unfortunately, we will probably miss out on Robert Foster for the same reason.
We have a shot, but it is a long one. I like that he chose Penn St over Pitt, which shows he wanted a big time program and a true college atmosphere over staying closer to home at Pitt (even though it still wasn't that far away). Think he does end up at Pitt, but we have a chance at least...maybe 20-30% at best, IMO.
