After reading that Coach has sent 2 players home for breaking the curfew rule, it may NOT seem like a big deal to some of you guys (especially the youngsters) but with us only having 9 seniors and seeing how (LSU, Florida, Mississippi State, Georgia struggling) played, I don't have that confident feeling that we are taking this trip like a business trip like we did in 09 and especially last year... Last year there were LSU players all over Bourbon street and Bama players may have been there BUT they were back at the Hotel by curfew.. I have all of the confidence in the world in CNS, but the players are the ones that have to EXECUTE the game plan..
I don't mean to sound all doom and gloom guys, just putting this out there since we have seen the top tier SEC struggle.e or get beat, and now this news... NO, we didn't hear about Lester or Hulk sending players home so maybe CNS has gotten this problem nipped in the bud, as Barney would say----
THE ONLY THING COACH COULD HAVE DONE BETTER TO GET THOSE KIDS ATTENTION, THAN SENDING THEM HOME, WOULD HAVE BEEN TOPUT THEM IN A ROOM WITH "BIG FLUKE" AND SAY FIX THIS, WOULD YA??'' I LOVE seeing him get the Offense fired up when we are behind...
Bring on the down votes...

Look the ones that were out later than curfew are headed home.
Other than few the team appears intense and focused. I understand concern but don't you think Saban would stop all partying after hours if bunch of players were staying out? Or just be selective with these two
I think this is the reason the players called the meeting
1. A&M won as did Georgia
2. They were freshmen and got dealt with. Focus has been corrected in plenty of time.
I agree with you and will give you an upvote. The silver lining today was that the team leadership recognized the problem and decided to nip it in the bud along with Saban. That sent a very powerful message! And this all occured 4 days before the game versus the night before. Yeah, I'm worried too but no one said winning a title is easy. They will have to earn this one.
Don't guess I understand the big deal about 2 guys out of 85 getting in trouble. Not indicative of an overall team attitude at all.
I would not worry.
Temptation will always be where your goal is to take your focus away! But I have not forgot why I'm here! And that's for a game not to play
I'm not worried at all. Those kids learned a valuable lesson tonight. Neither of them started and the team will change hotels Sunday.
2 true freshman who have not seen the field get caught being out past curfew. Big Shocker there.
It's human nature. It's hard for some of the younger kids to realize that this is a business trip when there is no expectation for them to be playing and they sort of skirt the rules because they don't think it should apply to them.
Not giving them an excuse, but let's put it into perspective. This wasn't the starting QB for LSU being out on Bourbon Street.
Enjoy your posts bleedscrimson and know how your feeling. It concerned me too but a lot of these guys have been there before and for the youngsters that haven't, I'm confident the leaders of this team will keep them in line. I think players like Barrett,Fluker,Nico,AJ,Lacey want this one more than any other.
If anything it shows that Coach Saban is there for one reason and one reason only and that's to bring #15 home to it's rightful place and if your not there to contribute to the cause your going home!

ha isnt it lke 2 guys out of 120 since the entire team is there
Roll Tide to Her
True but I hate to see a kid miss out on this opportunity. Maybe it will serve a lesson to them. It's rare a young man gets to play for a NC.
Well, let's say you took both these teams with no hype and no lights outside the stadium and played this game the night before the game or even the day after in the parking lot outside the stadium. Who do you think would win? Which team do you think would win? I'm pretty sure who you would pick, and that's how we have to look at this game. They're a good team, but we're better, and I just hope Alabama plays them like they would with no lights on, because I know who would win that game, and so do you.

Some people bring a knife to a gun fight. Mark Richt brings a Super Soaker 2000.
Easy solution to your problem. Don't watch the game then.
I didnt downvote you man but I think the worry is for nothing. It was two underclassman, It wasnt any of the main starters. Im almost positive we have the best in the business for these type problems,
Between Saban and the senior leader's meeting, that's probably the last of the problems. I know quite a few players have been tweeting about being in the rooms plus, they plan on going to another hotel too so that they can get in game mode and prepare to ND's asses quit.
We will be ok those to guys did not play a lot anyway
The fact CNS sent home players doesn't bother me at all. Glad he did it. But what now worries me were the comments NJ made about the previous practices not being what they should've been. That's not a curfew issue, that's an all around focus issue, right? He said that practices have been lacking intensity and focus and he didn't say it was just recently while in Miami. He said it like it had been happening for more than a couple practices. I can't lie, that worries me a bit. Better late than never to nip it in the bud and that's great the focus is back but I just hope it wasn't too little too late. I'm not saying it is, just saying I hope it isn't. I'm not buying the excuse that we don't have but 9 seniors and that's why they've lacked focus. Its all prolly nothing but a few bad choices by those 2 guys. After all we aren't in the know and r lead to assume either the best or the worst. I choose to believe that CNS has gotten the attention of his team and prepared them for the game. But it's ok for me "hope" that it's not too little too late. If they play flat then we know then maybe there was a focus issue leading up to Miami. I say lets try and not think too much about it and know that CNS has Em ready to go. That's all we can do fellas. RTR!

I'm not going to say you're the worst poster on BOL but you're in the bottom ten. Please, just stop. You're consistently posting shitty -- or worse ignorant -- stuff. I don't downvote b/c I think that whole system is gay. Just stop.

The only thing I'm concerned with is:
