Roll Tide from Mobile and the Order of Incas!
Never Gets Old
I've got a picture on my wall at my office from Mardi Gras last year in NOLA. It was a float devoted to Bama. I love it and it's still hanging on my wall at work.
That's awesome. You won't see that often deep in LSU Tiger country

Float of the year nominated!
Would love to get aboard that one on Joe Cain Day! woot!
I just happen to be in Mobile this weekend. Seems to be more of an Alabama town than in years past.
Christopher Walsh covers Alabama football for BamaOnline, 247Sports, and is the author of 18 books.
"Hey, hey, hey. A life. A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It's the shit that happens while you're waiting for moments that never come."
Mobile has always been an Alabama city. Just more obvious now with all that has transpired over the last 6 years. All you have to do is be driving/walking around on game day to see what I'm talking about. Easily 3 to 1 Tide over the other team.
I don't think mobile is tiger country at all - not entirely sure about Baldwin county. I've heard this before and am not sure where it comes from - may be a result from the 2000-2007 years when Alabama was down. think this city is at least 60% Alabama.
A lot of support for USA but usually split loyalty there.
think you may have been confused by Mardi Gras float....OP stated it was in Mobile.
Mobile may have been considered Tiger country during the Fran / Shula era but Saban plugged that hole in the boat with Jones, Lester, Scott and company in 2008.

Unfortunately, South Baldwin has a slightly higher percentage of barners imo. Not sure about north baldwin, but who cares about them anyway? (g)
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."
These appear to be popular this year ...
No I was talking about the poster who has a picture of a Bama float in a New Orleans parade. You know as in LSU tiger country. I am the op. I took the pic. I'm from Mobile. Mobile/Baldwin is crimson.
This one too ...
I grew up in Mobile and was in town briefly a couple of weeks ago. I've always known Mobile was mostly a Bama-town, but even I was taken aback by how much crimson and white was everywhere.
