I noticed that a lot of college football analyst made a mockery of the fact that AJ made an announcement that he was coming back as to say that he wasn't good enough to leave early. When I watch a game like the one tonight,it really makes me wonder if they really know a thing about football. AJ is better than both of these guys and about 8-10 more starting QB in the NFL right now imho.
UAbasspro, look again. Yes he is. And you will see this when he gets there.

In two or three years he may be, but not this minute.
AJ still struggled against good defenses. Our run game won it for us at Georgia. Against A&M he missed wide open throws. Struggled against LSU.
People forget that playing QB in college is nothing like the pros. Guys like Blaine Gabbert and Kyle Orton tore it up in college. They suck in the NFL because even the worst NFL defenses could shut out any college team. That's why it's so impressive when a guy like Luck, Griffin, or Wilson steps in and immediately starts making things happen. It's not supposed to be that easy.
The point I'm trying to reach here is that AJ could very well end up better than 8-10 current starters, or even all of them...or he could be a complete bust and struggle to make a practice squad in a couple years. We don't know. What we do know is that if you put him on the Jets right now, he would not be better than Sanchez. It's not like Sanchez didn't play well in college. He was drafted that high for a reason.
Yep, some just never adjust to the speed of the game. As fast as college players are, well, NFL players are just that much faster. And they're all fast. You have defensive players that are just as athletic as the offensive players. The only difference is they prefer to tear someone's head off.
Basically, all NFL players are 700 of the fastest, biggest, strongest, most agile, meanest SOB's on the planet......
