AJ is the man
After last month’s BCS Championship Game, AJ McCarron fired up the ol’ twitter machine to defend himself and his girlfriend from unsolicited advances from several people, including, most notably, A
I fear AJ's girlfriend is gearing up to become a major distraction for AJ. Part of me hope she has moved on before fall practice begins.
I hope it's a lot sooner than that if all this ridiculous attention doesn't die down.

Yep, it is getting ridiculous. I don't know about getting into it with a guys whose job will be to destroy you in a couple seasons is too wise either.

Heaven forbid AJ have a life off the football field.
No harm in having a life, but AJ is an emotional guy. I'd hate for this to become a distraction, especially when he could be a really high draft pick with another great year.
IN the words of CNS "Settle the F*ck Down!!!"
CNS about to get his azz I'm sure... If this is how it's gonna be, he needs to cut her loose... it's going to cost him ALOT of money
Wish Saban would put his foot down on this mess. This is becoming a distraction. Most guys wouldn't even care this happened but AJ is taking this too personal.
I see an intervention with Coach Saban coming very soon. & did I mention I hate Twitter? LOL

They can have lives outside of football, but if I'm reading alot about it in the press, then it starts becoming a problem. I guarantee you Nick Saban is thinking the same thing, and he'll probably be addressing it with AJ. I just hope AJ's head hasn't gotten so big that he thinks he's above such a frank talk from the coach.

You guys are ridiculous. AJ doesn't have this going on during the season. This started after the BCSCG and will stop when spring ball opens up. He's proven he's focused and can handle pressure. Let him have some fun. If it was a problem then the coaches would shut him down and they haven't.
KW is pretty flipping hot. That said, there's still hotter high point snatch in TTown IMO. AJ will be pulling a Freudo with waitresses at Innisfree in no time. It's only February.
Also, Johnny Manziel played pretty damn well with more distractions than you can count. Gotta give AJ more credit. That kid is as mentally tough a football player as I've seen. I think this is the era of the greatest pressure for a Bama QB I've ever seen.

I just hope AJ's not thinking with the wrong head.
Couldn't agree more.
What!!!! Our QB is tweeting about his girlfriend in the off-season??!?!?!?? That's not how our QB is supposed to do things. All that time he spent tweeting he could have been watching tape.
Some of y'all are silly.
Uhhh no. Just reread ur post and think about who he would dump. This is off season I'm sure both AJ and douche will have to many off season workouts to worry about each other.

Ok, A.J. you have three and time to focus on four. Forget Dockett!
Some of you guys need to calm down. Seriously, all of you that are going ballistic over this, did you attend college? Because if you really think a few tweets is more distracting than homework, quizzes, tests, and projects-then you need a reality check. By the logic I am seeing from many here is that we need to eliminate academics from UA, lock our players in an underground bunker, and only let them out to practice, eat, and play.
And FYI, spats, girl distractions, etc. is common in college. You only know about this because AJ is the two-time defending National Champion QB who is dating a woman that ESPN made a HUGE deal out of. If he was dating a Delta Delta Delta from UA and having a spat with some dude on campus, you'd never hear about it. This is much more of a distraction for all of you than it is for him.
Kind of like how she was at the championship game, right? What were his numbers again? 4 TDs, 287 yds against a supposedly good defense. Yeah, distract away.
Yes, I've been to college, as I'm sure many of us have, but lets be realistic here. Our college experience has almost nothing in common with AJ's.
Haha some of you get a life. AJ has done this before on twitter and likes to tweet. Some of you really show your age when you say its bad to be in a twitter war. Kids do this all the time its the generation. Yall act like its some huge deal. Maybe him and Docket should share Email or write letter so none of you will see it. This is probabaly his personality and he seems to have done well for us the past 2 years. I am sure if we lose a game next year and AJ had a bad one half on here will blame the Webb. How many of you blamed his personally life when we lost to A&M or LSU I am sure he had girls then. There were a lot on here that said P Sims would pass AJ because of the way AJ acts and looked in the ESPN special cause you saw Sims taking notes and AJ sitting there. Well that didn't happen. I think the kid had his head on straight and if he wants to have some harmless fun let him. It not like he is going out there harming anyone or himself.
Thinking this will affect AJ's play on the field is hilarious
