Poster ACT113, lead off today, but given all the staffs info plus the "inside" information, combined with A-day, give me Sims as the staerter! I think we have two caliber SEC QB's, but its simply Sims at this point. Instead of a poll, give me a up vote if you agree, or a downvote if you don't. I always encourage an upvote based on my sigs!
I have to go with Sims too. I thought he looked much better when the pocket broke down.
Still could go either way for me. While Sims looked great in the second half I was not impressed in the first half at all and think his height will hurt him at times along with his extremely slow scramble. AJ looks good at times and IMO has much better touch on his passes overall but he needs to learn every pass does not have to 25+ yards. In the end I think we will be okay but I dont expect our offense to be improved this year. If we win it all it is because of defense.
AJ starts on opening day.
+1 my man total agree..rtr
"Character" is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
I noticed Sims didn't look off the defender very much. That's something I think he'll pick up. Other than that, he looked very impressive.
AJ shows more leadership and better touch imo. Sims has better arm and athletic ability imo. We can win with either QB, Sims will make more plays and more mistakes. AJ steady and solid, leader. Lacks arm strength, but showed good mobility today. There is not going to be a starter named in time soon. Sims in time will be able to win more games for us, but might lose some in the short term.
I feel AJ is the starter, but we see plenty of Sims too.
