The negative recruiting angle is an opinion of what was said. If you compare current performance between two schools and you compare development of athletes between the two schools with evidence to back it up, that is not negative recruiting, that is marketing. Now, if you state that Mac Brown will be out if he has another sub par season...then that crosses a line as no one could possibly know that. If recent data holds true, UT is going nowhere fast....at least compared to Alabama.

"Touch that thang four" - Courtney Upshaw
I just read it. They're "accusing" Alabama of saying that they constantly compete for national titles while Texas doesn't. Is anyone doubting that they say this? Seriously?
The answer to this is easy. If Texas had a good coaching staff, he would probably be going to Texas. If anything, Texas fans/media need to be mad with that joke of a coach they have. That's what is holding them back.
On Alabama: CeCe Jefferson - "It was a bunch of beautiful women..." Reggie Ragland - "oh the females of course..."

I'm still not sure how pointing out facts constitutes negative recruiting? Bama is 35-5 with 2 national championships in the last 3 years. Texas 22-16 over the past 3 years.
Stating the truth is not negative recruiting, iyam.
WORD to Orangebloods: We do NOT recruit negatively. We are ALABAMA. We do not have to stoop to YOUR methods.
How is the adjustment to #2 in state of Texas going, UT? Get used to it, it looks to be permanent. SEC rules-Gig 'em & RTR!
I agree with this and should have been more clear in my original post but was on my mobile and heading out to work. The biggest take away from this article is the Texas site is confirming Robinson to Bama further solidifying Tim's projection, not that I ever had my doubts, Tim. lol
I like how A'Shawn gave a straight forward answer back to their questions: "Robinson gave a short but sweet reply to Hookem.com via text message Sunday if the Longhorns still have a shot. “No,” he said."
Look here is the deal.
"We took a shot at Colt and hurt him. That game would have been different 'cause they were statistically beatin' da heck out us until Colt got hurt."
Damn tejas are a bunch of arrogant, excuse filled, whiney-assed bitches.
Most of us dont live in a fantasy world either believe it or not. We believe what our eyes tell us, and when we read the same thing over and over again from recruits and parents saying how we dont negative recruit and just focus on the positives of Bama we form a solid opinion based on personal accounts that we dont do it.
On the other hand, if you were to believe we negative recruit all the time with all our players then you would be making an opinion based on no proof or personal accounts. That means believeing in something that you cant confirm, like dragons or bigfoot. Now who lives in a fantasy world? No flame intended.
"We're modern-day gladiators, and that mental toughness is really important to have in a good team." Nick Saban
Dragons are real, bro. I saw it on the Discovery Channel a couple of years back.

Sour grapes IMO
Exactly what was a lie in that "negative pitched"? Sounds all true to me.
