I liked the Finnebaum show and miss it. Dunaway and that other guy, I don't care for them. I feel WJOX is is in a bad situation..Dunaway and his whiny nasal voice i can live without..
Glad it's gone.
I think a lot of Finebaum, as a journalist he was the best this state has ever had! I grew up rushing to get the Monday post herald. Then the Wednesday and Saturday picks,(that was before game day on espn). He has alway understood the BAMA and barn fan base even though he was from Memphis. He has been too critical over the years and pissed me off, and sometime he was right as rain, and I just didn't want o admit it! I also enjoy his show, but don't get to listen as much as I would like. As far as the callers, I have never understood why some would let the dumbs ass caller get under their skin. Why would anyone care what Tammy, iman, ect... Thinks, and what do you want to do change there minds? When you get upset by the callers they become successful! They say things on purpose because other people fall hook line and sinker! I enjoy something different other than some talk show host who doesn't take caller because he so smart it take away from his talking time.
cold turkey the only way to be free.
Hate it. Poor mans Jerry springer. Used to have good info but internet killed his being able to tell us what we did not know. He hates recruiting and knows absolutely nothing about it. When I heard the same idiots call in with their same shtick everyday I had to quit for good. Xm radio all the way now. Bill king and mark packer. Also like Dan Patrick

I like the Finebaum show, but I only listen during the season. I'm not found of the callers who take themselves seriously, but I suspect they are cultivated characters stirring up the masses. Interesting to see where this 3-month break will lead to. I'm thinking he will continue building a show that is more national in its scope.
I think the regular callers are pretty much representative of the regular listeners.
Hate the callers, but love Paul's insight & info. He's got great sources even if he rarely says so.
btw, I do miss the truck driver (forgot his name) that calls in & has the funny laugh.
I like it...When you have a caller driven show you have to deal with callers who are idiots but his interviews are top notch...He interviewed Pat Sullivan a couple of years ago and it was really good....RTR
