"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
Hard not to agree with everything you posted. Nick Saban continues to impress me, and what has been most impressive is non stop evolution in all areas of his profession. Academics get better. Character gets better. Work ethic gets better. Off field issues dwindle. Talent level improves. Intelligence expands. (We lead the SEC in Academic All SEC). Recruiting (as hard as that is to believe) continues to improve and self select the right kind of kids to bring home #15 some day soon....and 16 and 17....
The OP mentioned he believes one day Bama will field a starting 11 that will end up in the NFL. I think our 2011 defense will make that prediction come true. The entire secondary (Kirkpatrick, Barron, Lester, & Menzie) are all NFL bound. Even Milliner will be a draft pick. The linebackers (Hightower, Johnson, CJ, Upshaw) will all end up in the NFL. I think Jerrell Harris will find a place in the NFL with his measurables. The DLine (Chapman, Square, Dial, Williams) will all end up there too. So unless a Harris or a Square don't make it, I don't see how your prediction won't be filled.
I think a bolder prediction will be Alabama fielding a 2-deep defense one year that will all end up in the NFL. Or even looking on the offensive side of the ball could be a challenge. Fielding a NFL QB, one or two offensive lineman, a Running Back or two, and one wide receiver is not so challenging for Bama to send to the NFL. When we're fielding a starting 11 that will end up in the NFL, you'll see power, physical football of which God has never seen.

Should I beg to ask u how many titles Alabama will nab before Coach Saban retires? I say he coaches realistically til 69 or 70 (because he is such a young 60 today)
I can honestly forsee us winning 4 more titles....possibly 5. Is that crazy to think?
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)

I said it a few days ago, but I want to erase the talk of 90s Nebraska and 00s USC teams when it comes to discussing modern day dynasties in college football.

"Hey, hey, hey. A life. A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It's the shit that happens while you're waiting for moments that never come."
And CNS is doing it from other states besides AL, which doesn't have enough recruits based on the small population base, unlike CMB who gets a full class early from in-state Texas kids. He doesn't even have to work a sweat to get 20 4-5 star kids from Texas!
Nice post. Following a Saban staff in recruiting just shows you the results of great work ethic, attention to detail, and sound organization. I agree that it has been an evolution. Each year he's getting great classes, but he's also steadily built his recruiting base year over year. Georgia and Florida are just huge, we're pulling four and five star kids regularly from two of the top states in the country for highschool talent. And Collins to me marks a milestone in Saban's recruiting of LA. Throw in his successes in MD, TN, OH (Depriest), NC (Pagan), etc..., and we're recruiting nationally and are recruiting top, top-tier talent despite not enjoying the same level of in-state talent that some of the other top programs benefit from year after year.
Filling up classes early is just another indication that the we've evolved even further this year. It is just awesome to watch.
