"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
This is a really interesting thread. BAMAMANAGER: What are your thoughts on the message that Saban crafts and his recruiting style when he recruits kids and their families, and how it differs from other schools?
I am blessed to have been a regular at games since the 70's. I now have the privledge os sharing this with my children. My son has not missed a home game since his 1st game in 2003. I tell him to enjoy this and I know that he does not understand how special this time is in Bama history. He is a young teenager and can't remember the down years of the late 90's and early 2000's. He is spoiled and expects that everytime in enters BDS that he will be leaving happy and with another W. I had the same experience early in my days attending games, not until Emmitt Smith bust my bubble with my 1st ever in person lose. I know how special this is and hope we keep CNS for many more years. I think he is a driven person that retirement is not something that is in his near future. I also think this is his final stop and that we will have to consider adding another hyphen to our stadium or name the field in his honor! Truly a great time to be a Bama fan.
