Two years, no NCAA bid and a pier sixer (nod to the late great Gordon Solie) in Hawai'i with the big man in the fold. Announces his departure following tonight's NIT loss via twitter. Is Stansbury next to go?
Travis, I figure he was prob just over reacting on Twitter. You really think he's leaving?
Perhaps, but at this point is his NBA stock going to improve? I look at him as a Euro guy whether he leaves now or next year.
Yeah he isn't really effective to me. His motor rarely revves up past idle. He stays in foul trouble or runs out of gas quickly. A large waste of potential.
Yeah, i was thinking possible transfer...but who would take that kid? Really pretty sad, no reason he shouldn't be dominating this league right now.
I think Ms ST must have been -20 or more with him on the floor tonight. He was a liability and something they could not get over.
Looks like he wants to kick some puppies iyam.
is he really even a "player" anymore? All he seems to do is jog around the lane, take a dunk if someone gives him the ball, and huff and puff his way back to the defensive end IF he has to...other than that, I don't think he deserves to be paid a dime. I certainly wouldn't pay to watch him play in his current condition...
1960 Les Paul
D-League or Turkey for Renardo.
Do they have Krystal's in Turkey? Sidney is just not Sidney without 10 Sackfulls a day.
It's a shame because the guy has obviously been blessed with skills. I know he was supposedly hurt this season but I'm guessing even those injuries could be attributed to poor fitness.
you're right...I think all he cares about are hamburgers any more...
I doubt Sidney EVER ate anything as healthy as turkey in his whole life...
OH>...you meant the COUNTRY...ahh....
His best shot at going pro may be in competitive eating. We might see him stuffing hot dogs down his throat on July 4th on espn.
I remember a game his Freshman year where Bost got him the ball in the post and Renardo just ate it. Poor Ted Valentine wasn't sure what to call so he blew the whistle, jirated, and pointed to the sky...
Question for State might be who does come back? Bost is gone, Sidney? Moultrie? Stans?
This is probably a true statement. He's as physically gifted as any big man (I think lottery pick talented) in the country, but what a head case. I think an NBA team could take a chance on him still.

He's about to take a big time pay cut.
You could be right. He has the "P" word written all over him. There seems to always be some general manager or coach who thinks that "he just needs the proper system and coaching and I feel I am just the right guy......"
They never learn.
