Is a freak. That is all.
If AJ stays next year I think coop will double his production. You can tell they are really on the same page as the year has progressed.
The kid finds the open field like no one else. It's ridiculous.
The best route runner/smoothest WR Bama has had in a long time.
Mayb ever at Bama.. guy just does everything verry well.. as a true freshman. style kinda reminds me Reggie Wayne imo
1st team All-SEC, imo.
Love Coop. Can you imagine if he and Julio had come in the same year....? wow.
Kid is deceptively fast! He just runs past people...seems to have another gear.
If you go to the SECCG take a few plays and just watch him run his routes. I havent seen anyone that can cover him. He must have the best/quickest moves in the country. If we get to Miami look for them to double cover him like they did Marqois Lee. But we should be able to run all over ND like USC and OU did early and for us the whole game.
Amari really reminds me of Marquise Lee. And not because they wear the same number. Physical appearance and yards after the catch are quite similar IMO. Amari is as good as lee was in ML's frosh year
Dee Milliner can't cover him either...
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
That would be so cool for AC if he could play for the NC in the area he grew up in. What a dream come true for him.
Watching him in the first half, I just said, "He's smooth". And he's only going to
He also acts like he is used to abusing DBs. No emotion. Although did see him getting into it with an Auburn player a little after a play. Good to see he has a pulse.
It really is amazing how quickly he has gotten there. I think we all expected him to be outstanding, but I am not sure anyone thought he would be this good, this soon. He is that rare player gifted with great talent, who also works hard, accepts coaching, and is dedicated to making himself as good as possible.
I will not say he is better than Julio - yet. I will say he is better in many ways. I think he is a better route runner than Julio, better quickness than Julio, and probably better hands. However, Julio was stronger and a better blocker. Also, Julio did not have the help with other receivers that were a threat that Cooper has had. Can you imagine how good Julio would have been if he had Norwood and Cooper/Bell on the field at the same time with him.
I cannot help smiling at the thought of Cooper on the field for two more years. Sure hope AJ stays for hi final year so we have a qb that can deliver him the ball.
I know it's almost blasphemy but Coop is as good if not better than Julio. Julio is one of a kind and I don't think his skill set will ever be matched. That being said I think Coop is our aj green. He runs better routes, gets open easier and has better hands. Julio just was far physically superior than everyone else on the field. I loved Julio but think Coop will shatter all the Alabama wr records.
Glad to see the crowd go "Cooooooooooooooop" after a catch.
I wouldn't go that far; AC deliverer of the bean is much better than JJ's was. Different type player; potential is there, but he hasn't earned that comparison yet...frosh year to frosh year I'll give you, but better or as good, not yet.
