Broke the flags of my jeep and had a kicking party on the side of my doors.. A cop was in the parking lot an walked up to me when he saw it was my vehicle.. He said he didn't see who did it but I shouldn't have had flags up.. Kinda pisses me off but hey we won the game so Roll Tide.. Here's to hoping no one else had any problems.. Be careful guys
get some payback at on some LSU vehicles next year
Part of me wants to, but I'm not that big of a jerk.. People who complain about traffic after our games n Tuscaloosa should be happy with how much better ours is than it is here.. It's awful.. No cops even directing.. We've been sitting for a while dead still
Not saying you deserved it but you should have known better than leaving those flags up. Hate that it happened and glad you are not looking to do that to someone else next year like previously suggested. Hope you get home safe.
If I ever decide to go to one of those games I believe I will be driving a Hertz or Enterprise rent a wreck into the parking lot decked out with stickers and flags. I like my vehicles too much. Just be sure to check the box for insurance. +1 to you
I don't think it's reasonable to think that having flags on your car will lead to your car being vandalized. That's like saying a rape victim shouldn't have dressed so slutty. It's still a crime.
I'm hear in BR. no voice. Worn out. Super hostile environment. Been here twice. This time was pretty rough. First we have Nick Saban then the cherry on top was the The T bagger. He ruined it for everyone. They hate us with a passion. We got the WIN and it was sweet. I will post some pics later. I got some good pics with Scott Cochran, Lacey, Steen, and Warmack after the game. RTR
You're right.. I shouldn't have left them up.. But it was a nice group of people who said it wouldn't be a big deal to leave them up.. Oh well live and learn
The last time UT beat LSU at LSU they beat the windows out of the bus the UT players were on & the players were worried they were going to flip the bus over.
We had a great time in Death Valley. Fans were great invited over to two different tailgates by complete strangers. We had a blast after the game had several walk up to us and tell us good game and they were just glad they came to play. I guess its all in your attitude. Ill be back their stadium noise was amazing the entire game. Traffic out of their was gridlock the cops were useless.
They did the same thing to aub buses a few years back.
We had a great time as well.. We had 10 of my family members there, 4 of which were from LSU.. Never had a problem until we got back to the car.. We had a fairly long walk and it was just me and another Alabama fan so we kept our mouths shut and walked back minding our own business.. We knew how lucky we were to get out with a win.. No need to run our mouth.. Hope everyone gets home safely.. Roll Tide
No vandalism or conflict although there could have been if I'd overreacted to a few comments. But the parking and traffic were the worst I've encountered anywhere. I've been here several times and never had it like this. What a mess! But, I concede - loudest stadium anywhere.
Wow what a prick that cop was basically saying it was your fault that it happened.
Sorry about your vehicle, but that's the exact reason I don't put Bama logos on my ride. I had my first car vandalized as I live in "Big Arnge" country and learned that lesson a long time ago.
The only college sticker I have on my car is my alma mater which is a Christian college so I figure unless there are some rabid atheists I don't have to worry to much about that. :D But Bama gear around here is a NO NO.
Losing doesn't make me want to quit. It makes me want to fight that much harder-Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
Wish I could give you a +100 for that RTRBB. It takes a punk and a coward to do what they did. The difference between being a man and a coward.
I saw a small mob in action at a Talladega race many years ago and it is a scary thing.
I had a minor issue in Tenn years ago and since then i take everything down and put in trunk when i arrive and put it all back on when i leave.
sorry you had issues....but just don't leave it up next time....too many jerks out there.
Had my Maxima trashed years ago. Had the side mirrors ripped off my new SUV a couple of years back. I flew and rented a car this time. "F*** You Saban" chant from the student section in the 4th qtr just made it all the better. On the other hand we tailgated with some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. Homemade gumbo, desserts and a huge, full bar.
