thanks for sharing. Hope the guy heals and gets a place on a NFL team.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.
Really hope this kid makes it; while I never met him I was a good acquaintance of his one of his high school coaches in the Greenville, SC area back when I lived there and he always spoke of him very highly and said his mother raised him right and to be respectful of everyone. From every interview I have ever seen or read I have no reason to doubt that is not the complete truth.

Great article; I am pulling for him & hope he makes it.
Seems like a class act!
kinda figured he had his head on straight when he told the barn to take a hike his senior year in high school
I live in Greenville and have met several who know/knew him and echo what BM says. Never met a person yet who says anything but great things about him. From former teachers, class mates, Clemson fans, older, or younger, Lattimore gets high praise. Rare for someone to be widely respected by so many from their hometown.

Hard not to root for this kid. Was watching that game when it happened. still sickens me to think about it.

Agree. Saw it myself, too...really like ML, and wish him the best.
1960 Les Paul
I live in Boiling Springs which is close to Duncan where he grew up and people always talked about what a good kid he was. I always wondered why Bama wasn't camped out on his steps but I guess CNS knew he was going to to to school with his sister. When Kiffen sent down the girls from UT to recruit at Burns HS he was not involved like 3 of the other Burns HS players. I think he will be a steal for some pro team.
After seeing it once, I've turned my head away from the TV/comp every single time it has been on. I can't watch knee injuries
Yes, I saw it live, once and once only. I refused to watch again. Made me sick to my stomach especially considering I knew how hard he worked and quality of person he was.
Totally forgot about the other 3 kids, what happened to them, that team was fricken stacked! Two of them were top 10 DEs IIRC
That was the year they played STA too wasn't it?
Yes it was and they lost that game...talk about great runs...Byrnes has won 8 of 10 state championships...ironically one of the misses was ML's senior season.
