Did everyone see that? Not the right time for that question IMO. That was a hard fought game. He had to already be drained.
Agree, does anyone know who it was. Thought it was heartless
Agreed. Awful question at an awful time. I do aporeciate Richt coming back and sticking up for his team.
The question would have been legit if Murray had folded during the game but he did not. The whole UGA team played hard right to the finish.
With the game going the way it did, the question was totally out of line. Actually, almost like a slap in the face after they played and coached like they did.
Sounded like Chuck Chernoff (sp). Maybe not the right time but that's what everyone is thinking.
That reporter was a throbbing vagina.
I'd like to know who the moron was as well. Anyone watching that game could see that Murray played his guts out. He damn near won the game for them as they were on our doorstep as time expired. He got rattled but was resilient. The pick by HaHa and the shot from Dial could have gotten him off his game but didnt. I thought Richt did a good job of keeping his composure but I thought he should have lit into the guy for saying that. As I saw it on SportCenter I thought, "I'd love to see how Saban would have handled that question. Holy geez..."
Didn't see it, care to recap?
Basically said that CMR and Murray can not win the big game.
First Mora now Richt. These classless pricks should be banned.
It was a question that was going to be asked eventually, but was asked entirely at the wrong time. Classless reporter.
Vince Lombardi was asked how it felt to have the best football team in the world. He replied, I don't know. We haven't played Alabama yet.
Chuck Oliver- barn grad. 680thefan
Richt handled that about the best way you can. His stock just went up in my book. Although I wouldn't have blamed him for jumping the table and putting a few fists in that reporter's face.
Honestly I wish Richt had responded with more anger. I think Saban would have and it would have been understandable.
While I think the question in the past has some legitimacy and does as a general statement, this game doesn't really belong as part of it. Maybe some can question Richt and Grantham about being so porous up the middle, but that is also our strength. Best thing we were able to do was keep the Georgia offense off the field.
This wasn't like 2008. Georgia was prepared and played well and was in the game for the entirety of the game.
But lord, to try to place the blame on Murray. That is just mind boggling really.
Was it really Oliver of 680thefan?
Yep. He is a douche.
I think MR handled that great, but a wish he would have went at that dude like a spider monkey!
Thought it was a legit question. When did Georgia last win a "Big" game?
It was a legitimate questions posed at an illegitimate time.
Richt handled it with class.
He handled it better than i would at that time. Stupid time for that question.
Well done coach ritch
