So obviously it's always better to buy early, and I know some of you have done so in the past but as far as rolling the dice a little not only on Bama getting there but what zone to buy tickets in, is it really just a shot in the dark or is there a little more to it? Any advice on which side or zone to purchase tickets for you crystal ball folks out there?
Any takers, the reserve option for the Bama section is a lot costlier, it's close to 1k to reserve the right to buy face value at like 325 a peace and the reservation doesn't even go towards the ticket price, I'm trying to pull the trigger before ticket prices completely blow up, any gurus out there?
My buddy that is in the ticket business says the Miami typically does not have high demand for tickets vs the other sites.
Paying $400+ for the right to buy a $400 ticket if we make it is crazy right now. That being said, ticket prices will go crazy if Notre Dame makes it.
This is correct.....Miami is a low demand city because its too far for ANYBODY to drive. So that cuts demand. THe only thing that will drive demand up very high is a HUGE fan base that travels well and hasnt been in a while---Notre Dame. K-State doesnt travel that well and its a LOOOOOONGGG trip for Oregon folk. Hold out.
Know plenty of people looking at a roundtrip to Orlando. $200 roundtrip on Southwest then drive 3 hours.
$200 round trip from Bham. $584 minimum from Bham to Miami.
It is absolutely killing me not to buy plane tickets and secure a hotel room, the hotel I could cancel so I don't feel like I would jinx anything, but that airfare I guess would just be gone. I hate waiting and not having air times that I need, but waiting til the SEC game is over is going to hurt the flight options I'm guessing
Luckily I could book on points
