I think we get past Cincy saturday. We start SEC play at 13-0. I think we go 14-4 in SEC play with maybe 3 or 4 of those wins going either way. Finish the season at 27-4 or 23-8 give or take 3 or 4 before the Tournaments.

Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear.
I'm afraid Cincinnati is going to blow us out of the gym on Saturday. I would love to be wrong though.
I think our athleticism keeps us in most every game, but Cincy by 8-10 is a likely outcome.
Who knows if we get hot though! If we play like we did in the 2nd half of Villanova, we can compete with anyone.
Tell me when a team blew us out of the gym under Coach Grant? Look we may not be a #1 seed in March but this team plays with too much heart to get throttled. We will finish well above .500 in SEC play if we stay healthy.
I'm not being a smarta$$ either, I just think our team (especially this year) plays too hard to get blown out. I know it's easy to fall back on recent disappointments, but I truly believe this team is going to shock some people come march.

Please be sure to pass around whatever it is you're smoking. TIA.
Off the top of my head......Purdue, Florida, Dayton. You're right that it doesn't happen often, but it happens.
Also like to point out that it's basketball. & getting blown out does happen. More than we think. Even to really good basketball teams. Basketball is the ultimate sport for moral victories!

Didn't we make a run at Dayton in that game last year? I get your point, but for some reason,o remember watching that game on Espn 3
Very optimistic. I think we have the back court to play with just about anyone, but teams with a big front court presence are going to present a major problem, IMO. 10 wins in the SEC should be optainable and if we can get another one of these bigger preseason games, I like our chances of getting something in the neighborhood of a 7 seed in the tournament. We need a 6 seed, IMO if we want a realistic chance of making a sweet 16 run or so though.
Love the hustle so far on this team and there are 3 or 4 front court players that could develop as the season goes on as well on the offensive side. Love their defense though.
My main concern though is that we are relying on a lot of jump shots and 3's so far. Maybe we are going to be a good 3-point shooting team this season, but until we are able to be consistant for an entire year, I am kind of at a "show me" stance.
