Anyone worried about Murray against our secondary based on Mettenberger and Manziel performed against us?
That is my concern as we have proven vulnerable. I think CNS will have them ready but may just be concerned because I want us to win so bad
One difference is that UGA has a very suspect OL. Nowhere near what LSU and A&M have. We SHOULD be able to pressure Murray, and while he is very mobile, he's not going to kill you with his legs like Manziel.
Clearly would be the main concern. I thought the QB play from LSU and A&M was fantastic but we need to make it more difficult on them.
Manziel's delivery in the pocket was also off the charts good. His accuracy and decision making was outstanding to go with his legs. If he plays like that with consistency and stays healthy he will go down as one of the greatest ever to play CFB.
Must find a way for Mosley to play a lot of snaps imo.

No doubt. My point was just that whereas with Manziel you have to devote substantial attention to stopping the pass and the run, Murray is only a real threat with the pass.
I really hope Geno is ready to be the full-time starter at the star position. If he is, I feel better about our chances.
So was Mett.
I haven't watched much of UGA this year so that's why I asked the question.
If we give them short passes it could hurt us.
I don't think they could handle us physically but they like to take deep shots
If John Fulton is back I'm not terribly worried. We have to use him as the nickel back instead of Sunseri. I saw some looks last week where we put Sunseri at LB. He may be best suited to fill CJ Mosely's void next year in the nickel and dime. Milliner, Fulton, and Belue are good. Its when we use Perry, Lester, Sunseri, Nico, and Depriest in coverage that we get exposed. Lastly we got to get some pass rush. If we can rush with 4 or 5 only (instead of sending 6 and leaving our guys on islands) we'll be ok. Need to see more DJ Pettway as he has been the only DL to constantly beat his man in pass rush. Square has been ok. Stinson lately has been getting swallowed as has Pagan and Dial.
I'm very worried about this game. This isn't my superstitious worry either...this is legit. My concerns are our secondary and our play calling. We can beat them, but we've got to settle down and be a little more disciplined. We're making mistakes at the wrong time of the year.
He may throw for 200 but he won't be a threat to run and our running game should annihilate them over the course of the game
I hope our players look at it as the NC game because that's what it is.
My main concern on offense in this game is our RB position. Obviously depth is a growing concern now that our two co-starters are beat up. We're going to have to keep a back in a good bit of the time to help protect against their blitzes with J. Jones and their DB/Safety blitzes that Grantham likes to use (D. Swann is becoming a Honey Badger-type ball hawk for them, as well as Baccari Rambo). With EL seemingly always dinged up and now TJ's a bit hobbled, and now who knows what's going on with Drake and his existing difficulties in pass protection, I'm most worried about how we'll pick up those blitzes and provide our receivers with time to get into their routes and AJ time to find them. I really think we need to use a very similar offensive gameplan as we did in the NC game last year with quick outs and play action boot legs. I also think our screen game must be effective to slow down their blitzes.
My concern with their offense is that they are plenty capable of taking what A&M and LSU did with success, merge them, and use them against us. I can see them running a lot of no huddle to limit our substitutions, which will keep CJ off the field and Vinnie, Nico, and Trey on the field, creating mismatches in their favor. I can see them taking what LSU did with the quick passes and basically running right at us, as well as hitting their backs with quick passes when matched up with Nico and Trey.
I'm more worried about this game than any other this year. I'm more worried about UGA than I would be worried about ND should we make it to Miami. The only thing that gives me solace about this game is that it is a Mark Richt coached team, and traditionally they are not a mentally tough or very physical team. I have doubts about how they will handle the pressure of being on the doorstep of playing for a NC. Don't forget Aaron Murray is something like 3-9 against teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of the game. This year he's only completing around 41% of his passes against ranked opponents. I think we win, but it will take a damn good game on our part. If we show up like we did against LSU and A&M, we'll get beat. I live in GA and I'm already tired of hearing these Dawg fans now that they've jumped back on Richt's jock and the UGA bandwagon. We need to start fast and step on their throat early (or their face with a hob-nail boot).
