"I think i'm watching the most talented college basketball team I've ever seen. They score and defend. They're long, fast, and freaky athletic."

Reminds of a football team I once saw....
But in all seriousness, this is one of the best teams I've ever seen as well.
UNLV 1990/1991 for me. Would love to see them play.
UNLV was beyond great when they were focused.
Roll Tide all across the USA!!!!
I personally think the Fab "5" would have handled Kentucky...and would have ran that Kansas team in the ground. Davis would have had his hands full with C-Web and Kid-Gilcrest would have as well with Jalen Rose. That team was sick. I know somebody also mention that 90-91' UNLV team which I also agree with. UK was legit for sure but that Michigan team and UNLV team were a lot better to me.
Kentucky is better. Davis' length would have given CWebb all kinds of fits with his lack of explosiveness. Gilcrest on Rose and they couldn't match the depth (talented depth) of UK. Miller coming off the bench is even first round material. After Webb & Rose, the others for Michigan were kinda, meh. Juwan Howard was decent, but slow compared to the Kentucky guys.
Michigan was beaten in the finals by a team whose best player was Eric Montress haha. Not championship material.
Bama and KY both win in the same year. First time since in 70s?

That Carolina team was a blue print of a championship team when you don't have superstars. D. Phelps was a system PG if there ever was one, Donald Williams could shoot the 3 as good as anybody that year, They had great size with Montross and Kevin Savadori. Bryan Reece and G. Lynch were great at doing what they did best...Reece was a get in the lane guy with a good mid-range game and Lynch was a beast on the boards. There wasn't a guy on Michigans team that was stronger than G. Lynch. Carolina's half court trap is what beat Michigan...not Carolina's talent. Fisher got out-coached by Dean Smith. Either way it's all someone's opinion I just think the Fab 5 was better and could beat UK. It's all about match up's. If Carolina would have tried to run with Michigan they would have gotten beat because they didn't have those types of players so they slowed the game down. Anyway, I'll sit back and see if any 3 of those guys on this UK team have the careers in the NBA that Webber, Rose, and J. Howard had. If I'm not mistaking all 3 of those guys played 15 NBA seasons or more. A. Davis may but I doubt the others do.
