How do we get to the big dance. Who we gotta beat and how many wins? I say we gotta get to 20 at least. May have to beat uf or ole piss. RTR
Our resume isn't that of a tourney team and unfortunately because of the bad losses (Mercer, Tulane, etc.) and the relative lack of strength in the SEC, it will be difficult to play our way back into the picture unless we come close to winning out, or unless we beat Florida and Ole Miss. I do think it's possible, but people will point to those bad losses if we're on the bubble.
We get both of them on the road. If we could spring an upset or two against those teams it would really boost our stock, assuming we take care of business elsewhere.
IIRC UF and OM are two of our last three games, so wins there would stay in the memory of the committee and talking heads.
Best thing for us right now is for UK to get hot and run off 10 or 11 straight wins. We need that to "look" like a good win whether it is or not. Right now, it's not a marquee W.
How about we go undefeated for the rest of the season and then we will have nothing to worry about.
If we beat UT on the road, get 1 from UF and Ole Miss, and get more road wins (committee takes road wins over home wins everytime) then we'll prove our worth. We can't lose to a South Carolina, Georgia, or Auburn this year.
by the looks of this...not so good. we're not even a bubble team
There are a number of different projections. I saw one that was updated before we beat Kentucky and we were in it. Lunardi's on ESPN has us as one of the first 4 out and that was before last night. We are defenitely in the converstation.
This is the only one that matters and we are one of the first four out.

15-3 in league play plus a win in the SEC tournament
Can't afford any losses to Vandy, LSU, AU, UGA, USCe, or State. Need to at least split our next two games (@ UT and Arky at home), probably need to win both. We have zero chance of beating Florida and a slim chance of beating Ole Miss so I'm counting those two as losses. We basically have a razor thin margin of error.
