*Southern California's long-awaited end to SEC dominance. Forget about a national championship, the Trojans dropped six games and lost to Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl. Quarterback Matt Barkley's Heisman campaign and spot as the top pick in the 2013 NFL Draft were byproducts of this elaborate scheme.
*Arkansas' long-awaited end to Alabama's and LSU's dominance of the SEC West. With Bobby Petrino riding off (and crashing) into the sunset, the aimless Razorbacks, who started the season ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press poll, fell early to Louisiana-Monroe before going on to drop eight games.
*Notre Dame's return to prominence. From Manti Te'o's Heisman campaign to Lennay Kekua to the Irish's vaunted defense to a beatdown in Miami Gardens. Apparently, none of it/them really happened. After all, it isn't real unless Notre Dame tells us it is.

Good stuff from Rick Telander of the Chicago Sun-Times:
Makes you wonder how far Te'o's Heisman campaign would have gone on the truth alone.
Florida's offensive struggles were Charlie weiss's fault.
West Virginia has an elite coach and elite qb. Preseason talk about Brando and holgerson drinking at flora bama and how great a guy and coach he was disappeared when his team crashed back to earth. His qb went from greatest ever to overrated the second he quit playing Baylor.
*For the first time post-Colt McCoy, Texas has figured out its quarterback situation.
*Ellis Johnson is the man to lead Southern Mississippi after Fedora's departure for UNC.
Gene Chizik's teeth.
Les Miles brain.
*With Mike Stoops reuniting with brother Bob in Norman, Oklahoma will get back to playing tough defense.
*After having five players taken in the top 35 picks of the 2012 NFL Draft, Alabama will lose three games.
"Alabama's secondary is a real liability."
*A baby's bottom soft schedule guarantees FSU a spot in the BCS title game.
Just beat me to that one...
How about Nick Saban to the Cleveland Browns.
"You don't always get what you want, but you always get what you deserve"
AJ McCarron is a game manager at QB.
*Texas A&M will struggle in its first season in the SEC. (That was one of mine, actually. Haha!)
Oklahoma or West Virginia will play for it all. Geno Smith is a real heisman candidate.
ESPN said Auburn would go 6-6 at the beginning of the year.
as we found out, they weren't that good...
1960 Les Paul
Chip Kelly to Philly. O wait
Chip Kelly to stay at OU. Wait, huh?
Mizzou will be successful vs SEC old man football
Never Gets Old
The whole "Mississippi State runs the state of Alabama" campaign.

Actually, they did finish 3rd in the West, which is only about 1 spot higher than most people picked them. And that was before the Bobby Petrino/Arky meltdown.
True, but who had them winning 11 games?
Nick saban always loses at least 3 games after winning the title.
Les miles is just a good qb away from dominating college football and mettenberger is that qb.
Jordan Jefferson and jarrett lee held back lswho.
