-Has known about this for months
-Felt it was a more advantageous route for him to take advantage of his rehab
-Recovering well from his ACL injury. But wants to completely heal before playing to avoid reinjury.
-Solidly committed, no thoughts on going somewhere else
-Final decision on greyshirt was up to him
-nothing concrete on which OL position he'll play
-squats 550 before leg injury, around 400 now
-sports management major
-will enroll in fall and pay his own way
-no negative recruiting from other schools, maybe because he's totally committed
Awesome! Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info. Good stuff.
But. But. The AJC said we were The Evil Empire reborn for asking this young man to follow such a horrendous path to being on the team.
Thanks, only met him once, but he definitely bleeds crimson. RTR young man.
If you dreamed you were a sleep and you woke up, would you be awake?
Appreciate the summary of interview!
Good to see someone that can see the bigger picture and not like 6 months will change his life. Both kids last year went to different schools that both were god awful and each have new coaches as well.
He sounds like a smart young man that has gotten good council. Its good that he is waiting to heal since a reinjury could kill his career.
If he is squats around 400 now then he is doing pretty well. He seems to have advanced upper body strength with his bench, but I'd like to see what his incline is. I'd love to see Hill at RT and Bozeman at RG. Hill's footwork is a lot more advanced than what Flukers was at the same stage.
Eat clean. Train Hard.
Same stage? Hill has had a year in Prep School. Granted he probably still needs a RS year for bad weight like DJ, but DJ was also 410 pounds when he showed up in ttown.
I love that Bradley went on the show this morning. It shut up Scarbinsky for at least a few hours regarding the whole grayshirt situation. He made his obligatory mentions of Philon and Taylor from last year, but really couldn't get any traction. A huge RTR to Bradley and his family and I look forward to seeing him in Crimson next spring!!!
Bozeman is a solid young man who loves Alabama as much as any prospect I have ever spoken to.

I'm talking about Grant Hill. I know DJ was heavy when he reported, but he was coming off of shoulder surgery unlike, Brandon Hill. Fluker's work ethic was never in question. Grant Hill's footwork is a lot better than many gave him credit for. He absolutely has the footwork to be able to handle speed rushers and be a solid SEC RT.
THAT is how you recap something you heard on the radio folks.
Great job ReasonableDoubt.
That kid sounds like he has a great head on his shoulders. That's a smart way to handle rehab.
