Summary of what he said-
-Thinks if South Carolina wins vs. LSU will be second in BCS.
-Florida State losing eliminates ACC from championship. National championship is down to 3 conferences and Notre Dame. That increases chance someone gets in with a loss. South Carolina could potentially survive loss at LSU if they beat Florida.
-Feels good about a one loss SEC champion having spot in BCS championship.
-UA won't have as strong a schedule as anyone in the East. Chance UA would still make the championship game should they lose to LSU. Degree of respect for program and Saban would probably put UA in championship game in spite of "SEC fatigue" but would depend on who the other team would be.
-LSU losing should help the SEC fatigue not be quite as bad with UA/LSU likely not meeting in the final again. Mississippi State and Texas A&M would be considered better home wins for Alabama than previously thought with both teams having only one loss between them so far.
-If ND runs the table they would've beaten 9-10 bowl teams and could be considered more deserving than an undefeated team like Oregon. If Oregon beats USC in the first game, they should be huge home favorites in the Pac-12 championship, so might not get the assumed bump for beating USC twice.
-Oregon didn't play anyone out of conference. Says they need to hope Oregon State continues to play well and have the CIvil War be a big matchup.
-WVU-KState will take care of itself. Should West Virginia go undefeated, they would be higher than Oregon in the computers.

Good stuff Chuck. More importantly, did he ask Pawwl how he was doing?? Because I'm betting no one else has asked today (g).

If ND goes undefeated, I dont care who you are, you cannot say they should be left out of the BCSCG. That schedule is brutal. especially over Oregon.
Appreciate the relay of info Charles.
I would love to see Bama vs ND in the BCSNC game... I think it would be the easiest of the wins against possible teams.
Please let that happen. i would love to watch Bama curb stop ND.
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
This...that schedule is tough and they would have some impressive wins.
I agree, but i just dont know how you could keep them out if they run the table against that schedule.
I didn't say they should be left out. Doesn't mean I have to like it. I hate Notre Dame. That said, it would be very nice to get to play them in the BCS.
FIrst, playing Notre Dame would be ideal. We all want to play and beat ND, and I don't think they're that good. But, it's not very likely to happen because that schedule is still going to net them two losses.
Back in the day, I ran a 3.9 in the 20
You and I see eye to eye. There's not one team I would love to beat the mess out of for the Championship more than ND. Well, maybe Ohio State. I don't like OSU at all, not one bit.

Agreed. Hate them, but beating Miami, Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Stanford etc...would be pretty amazing.
It's funny, but Oregon seems to be the "Boise State" this year. They have so much that has to happen to actually get there.
