Way to go Chipper! Best game I've seen in a long time. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Longshore. This is still braves country. And this team just feels special, hard to explain!
One of the most exciting regular season games I've seen in a while. Very fitiing that Chipper ended that one.
The best part may have been that he hit a bomb foul a couple of pitches before the walk off. That was great. Like a post-season environment.
My thoughts exactly. Just like the play-offs.
What a game and what an ending. Chipper has had alot of those through these years but that one has to be extra special.
Chipper said it was his most memorable. That's saying a lot!
Philly scored 13 runs on 17 hits.......and lost. Ouch
Can't believe I missed this. Stupid job!!
"Quit trying to make a play and do your job!"
15-13 game with Hanson and Holliday on the mound. Crazy!!
Replay is on sportsouth now. Braves are down 6-0 in the fifth. Do yourself a favor and tune in if you have it. The fireworks are about to start!
Let's Go Braves! Man...Chipper is having some Big-Time Moments so far this year! Hope he can manage his health throughout the season!
Let's win tomorrow and take 2 of 3...
Chipper is having a great farewell season. He deserves it.
Oh, and Phuck the Phillies.
Helluva game, helluva comeback...twice...but let's not get too excited about a game in which Hanson, Venters, and Medlen got lit up, and Kimbrel blew a save.
Turned into a good slow pitch softball game!
New Member of The 247 Crew!
Ok, well let's get real excited about scoring 8 runs off Halladay. Which happens about as often as all of those pitchers you mentioned getting lit up in the same game as it did last night.
BTW, Venters pitched a scoreless 10th with 2 Ks. O'Flaherty was the one who got roughed up.
You're right...O'Flaherty, not Venters. Venters got beat the night before.
I agree...as a Braves fan watching that game last night I just kept thinking to myself, "nothing to get excited about here"(g)
It was one of those games that you will remember come september...and long after for that matter.

Medlen also was not lit up by any means. EPIC game, it was a roller-coaster ride for sure.
Jeremiah 29:11 - 'For I know the plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'
I can't imagine how those guys are gonna be able to focus after last night, especially since they start playing today's game in about 10 minutes.
Might have just been best to sleep in the clubhouse last night, get a few extra mins of sleep in. Chipper and Mac get a break anyways...keep em fresh.
What is crazy is the Braves are 11-2 or 12-2 in games Chipper has started. Hope that knee holds up for 4 games a week.
I wish that somehow Jones could put it all together for an MVP run. If he has an outstanding year and the Braves ride his back to the division championship, especially if he has a hot September like he did in 1999, who knows? He might not necessarily have to have the gaudy numbers of some other candidates. That having been said, no one is going to beat Kemp. But some postseason MVP awards would do nicely.

Actually, Medlen should probably get a hard look at the spot in the rotation currently held by Delgado.
